Simple answer is to chuck Roma out of the CL.

I find it hard to see any good reason not to do so, to be honest. They have a long history of this kind of thing and need to get it sorted.
Awful scenes last night, but Liverpool fans are in no position to ask for other teams to be chucked out after their behavior v City and Roma (unless of course Liverpool are kicked out too). Granted they didn't go around with belts hitting people, but let's not forget they were launching missiles at the City coach. Launching items such as beer bottles can have terrible consequences.

As I said UEFA will do nothing:
UEFA said:
UEFA “deeply shocked by the vile attack that occurred ahead of Liverpool FC v AS Roma & our thoughts are with the victim and his family. The perpetrators of this ignominious attack have no place in football and we trust they will be dealt with utmost severity by the authorities.”
Which I read as we're leaving it to the authorities.

Liverpool deserved that. If the officials had done their jobs properly it could have been a lot closer, despite Roma being shambolic at times.

1st goal, OK that was a questionable foul.
2nd goal, a definite foul on Kolorov on the edge of the Liverpool box, Would Liverpool have scored that 2nd if the foul to Roma was given? Unlikely.
3rd goal, Salah clearly offside.

When you don't play well in CL football you need the officials to be on the top of their game.
Did you just copy and paste this from your post about the City game, as it's almost identical...

It's a pity you didn't get more decisions your way this season. You could really have done with it considering how badly Chelsea have done. Who knows - you might be able to dream of big Europa cup nights next season though...

You've got an 82% chance of going through, which statistically is good but means nothing on the night!

Him and Milner get slated by everyone

I'm amazed by how many people can't see how important they are in our system
Not the best technical players but imperative to a system to allow you to play as a team

Bit like Allen was a few seasons back. If everyone is all out creative and attacking then you lose the ball a lot more in dangerous positions. Need those players to hold it up at times, run lots and pass it from side to side to enable others to use the gaps.

He's been good through most of the 2nd half of the season (as he finally seems to have shaken off the injury he was carrying last season/start of this).

Some spurs or utd fan (can't tell the difference these days) tried to say Henderson wasn't a top 4 player on here a few days ago. rolleyes

In all honesty, I wasn't convinced when we signed him, but he's been solid for 2 or 3 seasons now, and he's improved massively under Klopp. Never stops running and, like Gini and Milner, does the unsung dirty work that allows the front three to rip teams apart.

Nainggolan is lauded as one of the best midfielders in Europe. De Rossi is no mug. For the majority of the game last night Hendo owned them. He outmuscled Nainga more than once. I wouldn't have believed that before kick-off tbh - the guy is a powerhouse.

I'd day Hendo coming back from injury is a major part of why we haven't missed Coutinho.

In fact, it's incredible to think we sold our "best player" just a few months ago and have gone on to improve as a team.

Hendo's pressing has been good, he covers a lot of ground and he is good at nicking the ball off the opposition (as shown by the first goal yesterday).

He does however still annoy me - maybe he just has a way about him or maybe it's his body language. The way sometimes he stands on the spot and watches with his legs apart and body leaning forward - comes across as ball watching.

Not by me they don't. The "Hendo is crap" stuff just shows ignorance to be honest. Milner too is a class act and 1 of my favourite players in that team.

That’s rough news - his game has picked up enormously since he left Arsenal, and on current form he was starting to look a first XI pick for Southgate. Feel for the guy.

I think he had a big issue/op on his knee at Arsenal. Messed it an old injury, part of the reason it was so bad?

Wijnaldum was an absolute monster yesterday when he came on - like his performance against City if not better

Agree about Wijnaldum. He was hungry. If he could find that consistency and more consistent finishing, he would go into the quality bracket
