You have to speculate to accumulate..
if we don't win the CL and finish 5th, the season will have been a failure (IMO)
if we don't win the CL and finish 2md, 3rd or 4th, we can move on, whilst being in the CL
If we win the CL and finish 5th - who cares - everyone is happy
if we win the CL and finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th - everyone is even happier

It's the only way. Pretty sure Rafa fielded a really weak team before the 2007 final, and wolves got fined for 10 changes once, but I'd have no complaints if we made 8, 9 or 10 changes.
Chelsea may or may not get 3 or 4 wins, but I couldn't care less about them, Making the final is all that matters right now.

It's no secret that he wants to manage Liverpool eventually. If he wants to do that he'll need to leave our U18s at some point and go and manage elsewhere, Rangers would probably be a good option for him, I don't think he has much to lose. scottish football fan here

But do you want him? I've no idea how good/bad your alternative options are and I've no idea how good a manager he would be. Would be a risk, but how much I don't know.

It will be interesting to see the team Klopp does pick. In my view, he played Gomez and Moreno last week and arguably it cost us 3 points. 2 players who knew they were simply being used as pawns to rest their 1st choice replacements for the all-important CL tie. They didn't look that motivated knowing you will be dropped back to the bench for one of the biggest games? I say we just go to Stoke with a 2nd string team and have the very best team fresh for the away leg.
Then again, a lot of players were playing in 2nd gear and were not exerting too much energy in that game and perhaps playing cautiously so not to pick up any knocks.

The report I saw did suggest he was on the shortlist. Seems a bit premature to be honest. I think it would be a mistake for any club to want him as their senior team boss at this stage. He’s not even had a full season with our youth team.scottish football fan here
