Massive credit to Klopp for his coaching and get the right people in when many people had doubts about them - shows you shouldnt judge our signings by how good they were before but more how likely they are to work under Klopps tactics.
Stats guru Michael Edwards doesn't get the recognition for identifying targets. Klopp ultimately sanctions the deals but it is Edwards that brings them to the discussion table. He pretty much identified Firmino, Salah and Keita by applying some mysterious statistical analysis. He may have identified Ox too, who has been another undoubted success this season. Whatever methods Edwards is using, it certainly is working.

Moore approves the kitty and Klopp ultimately sanctions the player and turns a good player into a very good player.

Klopp was keen on Ox since he watched him in person against his side in a European tie.

Hopefully, although 2 touches and a shot that probably should have been saved isn't much to go on.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to watch today’s game close to Times Square NY. I’m assuming with the time difference I may have to settle for a stream on the iPad.

For Can to now engage in contract negotiations because he deems our progress satisfactory is about the most arrogant thing I've read this year. Not least because he hasn't been part of it.

Agree with above. Sign contract, put the onus on him to prove his worth or be sold.

We will need at least one more midfielder as Milner won't go on forever and the new player needs time to settle and develop.

Team to play Stoke: Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Klavan, Gomez, Moreno, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Firmino, Salah, Ings

Subs: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Milner, Robertson, Solanke, Woodburn

Mane not even on the bench ??

Good to see a reasonably full strength squad. The rumours of Mane injured must be true.

ETA Team. The squad is far from full strength.

Radio 5 say Mane has a dead leg.

Bad vibes.

Three centre backs, with TAA and Moreno as wing backs?

As predicted, a good strong team from Klopp. None of the wrapping players in cotton wool bullsh!t. We need the 3 points.

I go to The Irish American Pub near WTC (Cortland St Subway Stop is closest). Great atmosphere on game day and fabulous JD Chicken Wings!! smile

I don't think so.
If we were nailed on for 4th then maybe but it's far from settled.

Realistically we haven't got much else in reserve.

Great ball from Moreno. Salah is getting in some great positions - has a knack of finding space all the time.
