I completely agree with you and the other poster about the benefit of the doubt and it being nigh on impossible for the linesman to get correct 100% of the time. Personally I’d like to have seen both of the above goals being given. If nothing else, it rewards attacking play.

The United one was ruled out by VAR after about 7 minutes of deliberation, which was a bit of a farce, but that’s a whole different discussion.

I don't think we are dreadful, definitely not playing with our usual fluency but that is completely understandable with Weds on the horizon. Most are playing in 2nd gear with the handbrake on.

Need to bide our time. Chances will come.

To be fair they have defended well today. We have had very few clear cut chances.

I also went to the toilet while we were playing too, :P

That said, it does seem one of those games that 0-0 was likely. First half was a lot more open, and could have been quite a few goals. This half they have sat back too much for our poorer crosses to work.

Really? I think today was as much about getting through the game without any injuries as it was about getting a win.

I'd much rather take a draw today and a win on Wednesday than a win today and a loss against Roma because we've got a squad on their knees.
