In real-time for these kind of tight offsides I don't think anyone can blame the ref or linesman for putting up their flag OR not! Multiple replays etc will always show whether it was correct or not but no one should blame the officials. It is for the player to ensure they are reading line correctly.
I completely agree with you and the other poster about the benefit of the doubt and it being nigh on impossible for the linesman to get correct 100% of the time. Personally I’d like to have seen both of the above goals being given. If nothing else, it rewards attacking play. The United one was ruled out by VAR after about 7 minutes of deliberation, which was a bit of a farce, but that’s a whole different discussion.

Looks like this could be a 0-0 now.
You’ve only posted that to try to alter the result That said, it does seem one of those games that 0-0 was likely. First half was a lot more open, and could have been quite a few goals. This half they have sat back too much for our poorer crosses to work.

Confirms work needed on the squad.
No intensity today. Seems to be the way of things after a big performance.
Penalty?
Really? I think today was as much about getting through the game without any injuries as it was about getting a win.No intensity today. Seems to be the way of things after a big performance.
Penalty?

I'd much rather take a draw today and a win on Wednesday than a win today and a loss against Roma because we've got a squad on their knees.
