Buvac Update
Zeljko Buvac will not be present at Liverpool between now and the end of the season - but remains a club employee.
Reports surfaced this morning suggesting that Buvac had quit, but it appears that it’s only a temporary departure from Anfield.
Reds officials insist that Buvac, who was at Saturday’s game against Stoke City, hasn’t stepped down but is spending some time away from the club due to personal reasons.

There certainly seem sure in what they're reporting.
Not great to potentially unsettle the team at such a critical point in the season. However if the article is correct and he's been gradually left out in recent weeks/months then maybe the transition to being without him will be a bit smoother.

Thw rational part of me thinks they aren't as good as city and we did a decent job in similar circumstances in the last round.
The other part of me says we are going to lose to a later minute goal to make it 3 nil and collapse in the league.

at 9am on the Thurs, fly into Kiev mid aft Fri, then to Lithuania on the Monday at 9am, then from there to Manc around 11.30am (off memory) About £520 in total but all less than 2.5hour flights, there was cheaper but you were looking at 17 hour flights (with changes) - f

Why wouldn't we score 1st? We tore them apart in the 1st leg for most of the game.And if we do score 1st, the tie is over (if it isn't already) - they would need to score 4.
I do think some people are forgetting the first 20min or so. We didn't look bad in terms of chances for scoring, but we were clearly second best and if they had scored from say the woodwork shot it could have been different.

I managed to find return flights between Dusseldorf and Kiev on Friday for £88. yep, I know we can never count chickens but I don't see Roma with an easy solution.And if we do score 1st, the tie is over (if it isn't already) - they would need to score 4.
They will have to go all out and expose themselves to our quick counters, they can't maintain that suicidal high defensive line again so sitting deeper will create gaps in the middle, my only concern is getting another MD injury.
