I managed to find return flights between Dusseldorf and Kiev on Friday for £88. I have someone on the case but going to wait until Weds, just before half time to really start booking.
Fly out when return when? You and about 20/30k liverpool fans will be doing exactly the same I imagine so I expect them to go up quite a lot during the game

I have booked my tickets to Kiev as the flights are getting worse day by day so fingers crossed
I have covered the cost by placing a bet on Roma at 9/1
£64 insurance is expensive!I have covered the cost by placing a bet on Roma at 9/1
Watch flight price trends on Kayak or similar. Wouldn't surprise me to see the simplest routes hit four figures. I, and one assumes many others, started looking at flights during the Roma game itself and they were rising rapidly as soon as it looked good for us.

Interesting stuff.Doesn't sound good at all.

Sounds like it's more than just personal reasons - unless he's becoming withdrawn because he misses Germany? But sounds like all is not well in the coaching department. I for one would support us removing Achterberg.ferrisbueller said:
I actually think that's very smart. Flights will go up by much more than that between now and then, even if they put extra flights on.

There is loads that booked straight after Roma - took a risk on £200-£250 as you know come halftime or fulltime on Wed prices will go sky highWatch flight price trends on Kayak or similar. Ours were going up daily , that was obviously as there was a number of Reds doing the same thing... if we get there I am paying an extra £60 - the flight will go up a lot more than that come wed

I seen a couple of people getting them a few weeks ago via Warsaw for £100. Paid off for them if we go through. Was £420 when I was looking. Ridiculous connection times. Still debating wether to go though. I missed Instanbul was already on holiday but Athens was brilliant in regards to the square and how many were there, it was like a home game...Chris Stott said:

It's going to be a nerve wracking game, even if we get the first goal it won't make a huge difference, and I can't see us getting the first goal.
Why wouldn't we score 1st? We tore them apart in the 1st leg for most of the game. And if we do score 1st, the tie is over (if it isn't already) - they would need to score 4.
I have flights on hold, but looking like the trip would cost me c.£2k all in as I would need to buy tickets outside normal channels... Decent amount of cash given I've had to spend £4k on the car in the last 2 months.
Then I think about the experience, and it somehow seems like good value

The flights were flying out Friday and returning Sunday evening. The flights of course will go up but just need ingenious ways to get connecting flights to Kiev.
What you mean like going via Lithuania like we are on the monday at that costing £250 The problem we found coming out on the sunday was either stupidly dear, or you miss the connecting as come in too late - good luck hunting took us days

What does flights on hold mean? how can you freeze a price for flights? Then I think about the experience, and it somehow seems like good value
Tickets for the final i imagine would be £800+

My wife has contacts at travel agency.Tickets for the final i imagine would be £800+
Tickets were €1400 this morning... but prices are going up all the time and are now €1600. Not sure if my mate can afford it, plus he's only started his new job last week.
Biggest pisser is how long it takes to get there from London - minimum 13 hours, and as much ass 17!
It's a lot of money, but might never get the chance again.
