Haven’t really slept until now... the scenes are still running through my head again and again... I'm infinitely sorry to my teammates, for you fans, and for all the staff. I know that I messed it up with the two mistakes and let you all down...
...As I said I'd just like to turn back the time but that's not possible. It's even worse as we all felt that we could have beaten Real Madrid and we were in the game for a long time...
...Thank you to our unbelievable fans who came to Kiev and held my back, even after the game. I don't take that for granted and once again it showed me what a big family we are. Thank you and we will come back stronger.

You edited out the “arguably” - accidentally I am sure
You could argue that, you’d be wrong but you could argue it
Surely the trolls are fat enough today, they don't need any more feeding. You could argue that, you’d be wrong but you could argue it
Found the clip of Ramos elbowing Karius in the head - Karius actually went down and complained to the ref about it.
https://metro.co.uk/2018/05/27/sergio-ramos-elbowe...
Legendary German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn told ZDF: ‘I’m lost for words.
‘I can’t remember having experienced something more brutal from a goalkeeping point of view than in this final. An evening like this can destroy a career.’
Ultimately he's been a bit soft I think if that did anything to his concentration. Top level footy, demands top level attitude. I do feel sorry for him though. Whatever RM pay Ramos, hopefully they pay him very well to do what he does for them...

Watch the full clip. Vvd pushes Ramos into karius clear as day. It's more a pen for real than anything. https://metro.co.uk/2018/05/27/sergio-ramos-elbowe...

First poster, Scouser, intimates that “Salah is arguably the best player in the world”
Second poster, Spud, intimates that Ronaldo or A.N. Other is in fact the best player in the world.
Third poster, Me, Manc, guess which side of that above argument I’m on.
Like any normal footy fan of any other team could agree with the first poster.

An interesting question is - who is the best player in the world based on this last season alone. Would it change things? I haven't seen enough of Ronaldo etc to comment properly, but I believe he has had a pretty quiet year considering. This season with 2300min or so he has scored 24 goals in the league and 5 assists (also a weaker league most would agree).
Salah with 2900min or so has scored 32 goals and 10 assists.
In addition 3 of Ronaldo's were pens versus 1 for Salah.
Salah for goals scored and assists per time played is actually better than Ronaldo this season.
A few of my mates and I reckon Ramos' efforts last night was the best hatchet job since Umaga.

How about we take it over 18 months or 2, 3 or 4 years? In fact any period that gives a fairer view of who the best player in the world might be.
Alternately why not measure it over just their last game? That makes Bale the best player in the world by far.
Kane is in with a shout if it's over the last 4 games or so.
But to even consider salah in the same league as Ronaldo or Messi or others is just outright ludicrous as one season is not enough.
And before someone says it, no, it's not arguable I'm afraid and thats in my opinion and I suspect most other football fans.
