Suarez was also a racist, who the club and its fans chose to defend rather than call out.
I think the mistake, as it was in hindsight, was to listen to him and his version of events and taking it in good faith. The more standard "the club will help with investigations" line would be rolled out now.Very few people actually know what was said but we have to accept that a panel of qualified parties concluded it was unacceptable and punishment handed down.
For that and other offences Suarez's name will always be tainted. Good player, need some improvement as a human being.
In the same way no-one is going to condone biting or racism, death threats shouldn't go unpunished. Perhaps the club will issue a statement about "assisting with enquiries and appropriate actions". Whoever these " people" are who think that's acceptable there should be a punishment and the club should distance itself in whatever way it needs to. I'd also wager some of those involved aren't even Liverpool fans at all.
No Liverpool supporter on here is going to condone it. All would condemn it.

As soon as i saw the camera zoom in on Ramos smiling as he was talking to the linesman, i knew that they were trying to create a moment, similar to Christiano Ronaldo's infamous wink all those years ago. Doesn't surprise me one bit that people are thick enough to bite on it. That petition is quite frankly embarassing.
I don't like Ramos, i think he's a bit dirty, but to suggest he was thinking about injuring Salah is ridiculous. He's an old school defender who was committing a professional foul to stop an attack, not a madman trying to injure a fellow professional. Souness did far, far worse. This is coming from a Liverpool fan.

Loads of Liverpool fans have been ripping the piss out of Dele & Harry for being fairly fouled, Harry Kane's slightest of touches for the goal against Stoke & Jose's style of play .What were you expecting ?.. Sympathy ?
Looks like you will just have to weather the storm for a while.

Well you've been puking your digital diarrhea all over this thread for years. How long is this bloody storm going to last?
Unlike yourself in the Spurs thread eh What goes round .
Looks like it's a case of 'what goes around is never going to fking stop going around'.
As great as the bantz is now I have had chance to reflect -
As a fan it's been a great season - some epic games great football full of ups and downs. Have genuinely looked forward to each game.
Objectively disappointed with 4th and no cups but subjectively feel like Klopp is creating something. A squad that is greater than the sum of its parts.
We are as far away from winning the league as ever and I can only see that changing if we stick with this plan OR we sell to another Shiekh and spend 3 or 4 hundred million.
I'd have Ramos in our side so yeah he's a , but it's the way it is.

Other than City i'd say in all honesty you have had the best season of all the rest.As a fan it's been a great season - some epic games great football full of ups and downs. Have genuinely looked forward to each game.

If you hadn't made the CL final i reckon you'd of finished probably second.
Future looks bright for Liverpool FC.

Opens page, looking for a whinge and a circle jerk about what a bd Ramos is and how we should all sign a petition and demand compensation, realises that it's infested with rival fans rightly taking the piss and having fun at your expense. Closes page quickly and heads off into the corner for a little cry

I knew there had to be some sensible heads mixed in with the morons. What's more, as this pic shows, the original arm lock was instigated by Salah, so maybe Ramos should have got the free kick!I don't like Ramos, i think he's a bit dirty, but to suggest he was thinking about injuring Salah is ridiculous. Maybe if we had gone out early but UTDs points haul was pretty impressive. If you hadn't made the CL final i reckon you'd of finished probably second.

The game changer for us all is just how far City are ahead. It's difficult to build a rational argument for any of the others beating them next season. So we will have to rely on hope.

Ramos had already "trapped" his arm by this stage.Proper cynical dark arts defending. No complaints from me. I'd love a proper dirty bd on our side.
