Mourinho has taken defeat well.....
"The referees were called by the baseball federation, they thought it was a baseball game and they had to deal with a soccer game...

I think Shaqiri could end up being one of the most astute pieces of business this summer. He's always had the talent but playing at Stoke has hardly helped him; if he's not on song, the team loses.

In a strange way, he'll have less pressure at Liverpool among the big money signings. This should help him relax a little and play his real game. £13 million is a bargain, he'll get 10 goals and 10 assists this season if he plays enough games.

He does seem a good buy, but i listened to a few on Talkste the other day coating him off big time.

Will he play in this team of great players though ? Really can't see him being first choice can you ?

I think Liverpool just need to replace Lovren with a player like Alderwireld & they could well win the league next season,

If they were giving him stick on that station, must mean he's good. hehe

Nah, I don't expect him to play every week but if Liverpool have designs on winning things this year then they will need a very, very good deputy to come in for every position. Think they are short in one or two of those positions but what XS does is give them a little bit of unpredictable magic to bring on with a half hour to go, to unlock a stubborn defence with one pass.

Agree with your last sentence.

100% Agreed. He is the last remaining weak cog.

Moreno pulled the shirt on last night. Lovren is nowhere near the weakest link.

Karius not even on the bench last night. Not sure whether to read anything into that.

Kareless is injured. I’ve been quite impressed by young Kelleher in goals, no fuss, just does what he has to do quietly and confidently. An anti Karius.

Anyone going to Dublin on Saturday?
