Think utd played well in the first half to be fair, best I've seen them play in a long time Spurs hardly blew them away in the 2nd either, I think they just managed the game better and took their chances.
I'd have preferred a draw for obvious reasons, but that's a great result for them!

I am glad Spurs smashed them , they are awful - and to think a lot of UTD fans think that team/squad is the 2nd best in the league - laughable
The number of UTD players that would get in ours, spurs, citys or chelseas 1st team is minimal.
I won also Jammy
Tottenham to win and 3 or more goals in the match (Was 7/2)
(Price Boosts)
4/1
Man Utd 0-3 Tottenham

I just had a Spurs for the result at 21/10, then stuck a couple of £1 bets on Spurs Over 2.5 goals (6/5) and Spurs to score the next goal (at 2-0 up) (15/8). Doubled the small amount of money I had in my B365 account which has paid for tonight's Chinese and more. Tottenham to win and 3 or more goals in the match (Was 7/2)

Yep and my Indian haha £10 on at 4/1
I was shocked you wrote off Spurs for the season so easily tbh - they have a togetherness and a decent squad when the players are back, they will be up there with us, city and Chelsea thats for sure.

They've lost Lamela tonight. Moura is definitely a great option. I just think they might struggle with depth at the thick end of the season, especially if they are pushing further into a cup competition to get a trophy too.I'd be willing to put money on City, Liverpool first and second, then Chelsea/Spurs for third/fourth. Arsenal and Utd just aren't getting in the top four this season.

They will be in the mix as much as any of the chasing pack for me...I'd be willing to put money on City, Liverpool first and second, then Chelsea/Spurs for third/fourth. Arsenal and Utd just aren't getting in the top four this season.
If we get injury to Salah/VVD/Firmino we could struggle too - last year we got lucky with 0 major injuries to Salah/Mane/Firmino - if we get 1 this year be interesting to see how we cope, Shaquiri/Sturridge are totally different players so how we play will change. I also dont have much faith in many CB's without VVD
You would have expected United to have been absolutely fired up for last nights game, after the Brighton defeat. The Spurs result has probably knocked any belief that was left in that team - especially after all the media noise in the build-up. They way over-achieved last season and this season should reveal their true colours.
I think what is also telling is that Maureen during post-match press conference, openly admitted he didn't know what his best central defensive pairing was. They look very vulnerable at the back!! Not to mention all the outside noise about Woodward and Pogba to Barca. All a bit of a soap opera and I'm loving it!

He's bought in 2 CBs and been with the club over years. How can he not know which 2 CBs are his best pairing?!
Any player is a gamble - for whatever reason those he's bought haven't settled/produced/are there for the wrong reasons. Who knows. Maureen's golden touch seems to have deserted him though. For me he is a very short term fix. If he is given a decent team and the budget he can go and win you a trophy or two but it's never a long term thing. He is not the manager you pick to develop a team long term, in fact most teams get progressively worse under his tutelage until you hit the toxic year 3 where he starts throwing his toys out the pram.
United needed a manager who could rebuild as they have lost their way after Ferguson, they picked totally the wrong manager for that job in Jose.

Beyond watching JM's press conference, and the angst of some fans, I didn't enjoy United losing as much last night as last week against Brighton.
At least they seemed to try last night, creating chances and playing a more attacking, high press style... but as we know, high pressing takes a lot of training to do successfully - we sign players and they don't get a game for weeks or months while they get this ingrained. You can't do it in a week, so expecting some sort of miracle was just daft.
This needed drumming in to them in the preseason, not in a week between games.
Wonder if JM stick with the style, or revert to type after the loss.

Agreed - but after a dip after Fergie I can see why they went for him.United needed a manager who could rebuild as they have lost their way after Ferguson, they picked totally the wrong manager for that job in Jose.
