Well done to Seventy and GTO3R who predicted 1-0 Uruguay. Eleven other players also predicted we'd see a goofy grin from Suarez so 13 out of 19 score points. It also means everyone is off the mark apart from Zokovic.

Will do a "proper" table later on, but for the moment...

5 pts - GTO3R, Seventy

2 pts - GloverMart, Brabus Mog, E31 Shrew, Gadgetmac, The Jiffle King, PHuzzy and JW VW

1 pt - Ascayman, Mickk, Dan1981, Black Can Man, 48k, Oxford Drinker, Lotus Notes, Pommy, Jacob Lawson & J Cremonini

Got to feel sorry for 'Thonner J Cremonini. If the games had ended on 89 minutes, he'd have a maximum 12 points out of 12.

As they don't, he hasn't.

So, after four games we have joint leaders.

Four more games tomorrow, I'll try to do a table tomorrow night.

shout Good morning 'Thonners..... shout

Here is the full list of second round matches for you to predict. I have moved the deadline back to 6pm on Tuesday 19th which is an hour before the matches begin. This way, you have the chance to see every team play before making your second round of predictions albeit Poland v Senegal will finish at 5.45pm and your predictions need to be in at 6pm.

If you want to go early with your guesses carefully informed and highly researched predictions, you can do as from now.

Usual WCP rules, don't worry about avoiding putting hyphens in as this is a steam driven table! hehe

Tue 19th - Russia v Egypt
Wed 20th - Portugal v Morocco
Wed 20th - Uruguay v Saudi Arabia
Wed 20th - Iran v Spain
Thu 21st - Denmark v Australia
Thu 21st - France v Peru

Glad you noticed. Not like I'm annoyed about it.

All nineteen 'thonners predicted a French win but only one (Ascayman) said it would be 2-1. Well done Ascay, he's now one of three players topping the table.

Next up is the Argies against the Icemen. Predictions are 17 Argentina wins + 2 draws.

New leaders after six games... Brabus Mog and E31Shrew go top after being the only two players to predict draws in the Argentina v Iceland game.

The "posh" table will come tonight after Croatia v Nigeria.

GTO3R and 48k take the honours there, correctly foreseeing that the Danes would beat Paddington Bear's mob 1-0.

Eleven other 'thonners also went for the Danish to bring home the bacon, so a high scoring match even though there was only a goal in it.

GTO3R is now top banana, closely followed by Brabus Mog and E31 Shrew two points behind. Full table to follow tonight.

I'll give it a go. Might be a little more difficult for some games but I'll do it where I can.

Mixed bag tonight between Croatia and Nigeria. Eleven gone for Croatian wins, six for draws and two backing the Super Eagles.
