One of those games where 4 nil is par.

Wonder if Kane gets miffed when he's left out of games like this where he could get a bag full.
Its difficult isn't it? There seemed to be a massive hype around Abraham last night but I just don't think he is good enough to be a replacement for Kane. He was causing their defense problems but it almost looked like he was trying to get into a position where the ball would just hit him and rebound into the net. Its hard to describe but it was like he was in the right place but his legs weren't.

Still he did score one and you really can't guess how many of the other chances Kane might have buried, maybe another one or two.

He did not have that much to do but I liked very much Johnstone’s distribution

Abraham is ok, and had a good season in Italy. Against lower ranked opponents it’s good for us to give other strikers minutes to see how they handle international football.

Great finish by Saka, unbelievable pass by Foden.
Superb from both.
Bit worried that Sancho’s in danger of getting sent off for battling with a sub in the tunnel.
Sancho being a dhead at the end there, tussling with the Andorra player then nudging the ball away so rightly getting booked.
Wouldn't be as bad if his play had been great, but he was rubbish tonight.

Foden the stand out tonight. Ward-Prowse's passing and effort has been good too.
Sorry, what?? Are you saying Sancho was rubbish tonight? Maybe go and watch it again without some kind of bias clouding your understanding. He was great tonight, they had no answer to him at all.
I agree, I thought Sancho had a good game.
I'm hoping he can start doing that at United.
Foden was excellent.

Foden the gas meter thief looks sensational everytime he puts on the shirt and his ommission is one of the reasons we never won the Euros.

To be fair I can't see how Rashford and Greenwood are going to get a look-in with the likes of Sterling, Bellingham, Sancho, Foden, unless they step-up their game for Man Flu.

Those two players probably wished they had arrived on the scene 7 years ago.

Good start to the game on the pitch, not so good off.

Apparently as soon as the game started the Hungarian fans tried to break out of their area to attack England fans. The police have had to go in with batons. No footage yet but it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. frown

Forgot this was on, turned on the telly half an hour gone. Hungary leading, surprised. First piece of action Kane blatantly dives in the box, no surprise.

Very unconvincing first half hour. We totally lacked ideas. Fortunately we looked more & more promising as the half wore on.
I do wonder what Lee Dixon would have had to say if a Hungarian player dived like Kane did. Probably be demanding a yellow card. As it was, Kane’s dive glossed over...

If that was a penalty for Hungary, the game is dead. Shaw had every right to go for that ball, he was stationary and in the process of controlling the ball. The Hungarian ran on to his raised foot. The very definition of buying a penalty.

Our police really are pathetic.

They're lucky they didn't get more of a kicking there.

The copper in the red cap needs to exercise some control too!

Shrug.

I'd be in Continental mode and anyone that came towards me in that scenario would get it as hard as I could give it.

Why were there only about 5 coppers to 30 or thugs. If their escape had been blocked they'd have been in serious trouble.

The only control he needs is to exercise is his ability to smack them cleaner.

Looked like some of them wanted to treat them like XR protestors and ask them nicely to stop.

Probably scared of the IPCC for daring to draw a baton.

Probably a bit rusty from all that kneeling and dancing.

On the field the Hungarian's are more than holding their own.

We've been well under par so far.

That’s an even stranger decision than taking off the Gas Meter Thief.

And now Abraham is warming up?

So he takes Grealish off, leaves Sterling on to run into some more people. Hard to see where a goal in open play will come from.
