The Portuguese chap at Man Utd must be looking over his shoulder now. Will he walk or will he be pushed??

Can they afford to sack him ? He signed a 5 year deal not so late by ago .

The Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic's job must be on the line. The Chairman spent quite a bit of money in the close season and their defending is Kamikaze like at present.

You can see big Sam doing his annual Red Adair stint at Fulham real soon.

They look absolutely woeful against us so far tonight. They spent a hundred million quid to look like this, Wowza.....

Agreed; Fulham played some great stuff in the Championship last season - and in fairness the season before - but they've looked poor for much of the game tonight (albeit they've improved in the second half).

Back on topic and I'd have thought Sparky must be starting to look vulnerable down at Southampton? They only just survived last season and, while he inherited that situation and managed to keep them up, they haven't exactly been setting the world alight so far this season....

Not sure if anyone heard 606 on Sunday night with Ali Bruce-Ball and Chris Sutton. What a bloody hoot!!

Paraphrasing slightly...

Saints fan comes on...

Saints fan - "We're playing, how can I call it.... dull football. It's terrible to watch and I think Hughes has to go. The football we're playing, well it's like Sam Allardyce."

Ali Bruce-Ball - "So who would you get in then if Hughes does go?"

Saints fan - "I'd take Big Sam to be honest!"....

The word is that there are a lot of disgruntled players that won promotion last year that are not getting a game this year .

Dressing room division apparently.

That wouldn't surprise me, they spent a fortune to bring in a lot of new faces, I can well imagine that a few people are feeling put out.

Sutton is a great pundit, BCM. He's beautifully direct, very sharp and I even love the gentle Norfolk twang that at times, masks the venom in his comments.

One of the best out there IMO.

Cant see a problem with the statement myself. Yes both provide for dull footie but Hughes will take them down, Sam will keep them up.

I saw somewhere that Moyes was being touted for the Southampton job if Sparky gets the sack. If he gets control of the transfer budget and is there for a couple of years he should be able to steady the ship and get them pointing in the right direction

Really disappointed with Fulham, the team that came up looked such a good unit - could totally believe there is dressing room issues. Although Cairney has been out injured most of the season so far which wont have helped matters. Shame really as they are a likable club, Schurlle, Mawson and Seri should have really taken them on a step but it seems the others are falling away.

One of Fulham, Hudders, Southampton are going to flinch and wield the axe before long...all three look bang on relegation candidates.

I wonder if that will trigger a reaction from Southampton or Huddersfield?

Not unexpected, although the division has done well to last till mid november before a sacking!

I think Huddersfield might wait a while, they have had a bit of an upturn of late, but can imagine Southampton are looking around...they are in massive danger and have been on the slide for a number of seasons now.

Ranieri now appointed, I reckon that's a pretty shrewd appointment and can see them start to slowly climb the table.

My money's on Hughes going next (and as a Saints fan I hope it's sooner rather than later).

Now that Mark Hughes at Southampton has been given his P45 I wonder if Big Sam's phone will be ringing???
