Naby Keita left the pitch with an injury after he was seen holding his thigh in a match against Rwanda. It seems there wasn't a stretcher available as a team mate carried him off on his back.

That's OK.
He's not very good anyway, is he?

We've come a long way since Parry. Thank goodness.
Having escaped the corporate world in my job (which bores and annoys me in equal measure) its a shame its taken over my favourite sport. Sign of the times, had to happen, I know.

Was think of Milner before the internationals. Begins to affect the squad depth with quite a few at once.

rofl My opinion of modern footballers remains unchanged by this news... wink

Actually I'm moving to Scotland so will hopefully get to see more live footy up there. Liverpool is in the blood though so my allegiance is hard wired until I die, regardless.

I suspect there's a factory where Milner-bots just get made to replace the ones damaged on the pitch...

The private jet was sent to him by LFC to get him back quicker

Yeah I guessed that. Remember that one when the ticket prices go up again and they're trying to justify it.

The inequality of the game. They didn't have a stretcher available in Rwanda for an international game (Keita was literally piggybacked off the pitch) versus a club able to command a private jet for the same player.

Indeed. Fairly reflective of society as a whole though. I'll resist getting on that soapbox that just appeared... smile
