Markovic, Moreno, Origi, Clyne, Sturridge (?). Possibly Milner and maybe Lallana?
Could you come up with a more complete list of bang average players? The sooner you are rid the better IMO.

I’d keep Milner as long as possible , even when he’s finished I’d want him at my club.

Yeah, it probably has, with this new competition. But it's a sad state of affairs if you can't go a fortnight without your fix ... how you all get from Saturday to Saturday without a midweek game is beyond me.
its quite simple -international football does not really do that much for me - much rather watch my team , maybe if they went around the country they would get a bit more interest for me, but I cannot go to a game without spending £200+ so i have no connection to it -

I much prefer going to watch my team than sitting watching every england game on tv so I have much more connection with Liverpool.
I appreciate that but it's the chance for a bit of calm with the pressure reduced (for clubs) - so it's good all round. It's just a break from the usual club stuff, which you probably need more than you maybe appreciate (clubs and fans) ... you'd get it Saturday to Saturday in the old days but there are too many games now if you're in the top half of the table and go deeper in the cup comps.

Milner and Sturridge I'd keep for as long as possible, in fact, if Sturridge had Miner's fitness he'd probably be the best striker on the planet laugh

I'd get rid of the rest though.

Yep

Sturridge scores the occasional decent goal but can go for long stints with nothing, that's when he isn't injured of course.

Milner, Mr consistent, yep consistently passing sideways. He does an OK job but nothing outstanding and he is 32 so very little time left at the sharp end. He is squad filler material, not someone worthy to be a main feature of LFC's first eleven. If Kieta and\or Fabinho had come good, he wouldn't be getting a look in.

Also telling that they haven't bothered to renew either players contracts yet.

Both bang average.

Clyne a more than adequate reserve RB surely?

Have you been drinking? Sturridge is somewhere around the 15th best goals per minute ratio in PL history. And that's despite being very irregular in terms of playing due to the injuries, so no chance to build form like many others, and some of the others having very limited number of games in better teams so have better ratios.

Also have a look at Milners assists to see if he's just passing things sideways all the time.

Sturridge is a back up striker, his fitness means he can't start anymore (imo) but he is still class and will be used sparingly this season as a good option off the bench, of he doesn't get banned...

Can you confirm that you're talking about James Milner who plays for Liverpool? laugh

He ran the midfield in most games on our run to the CL final and is probably one of the fittest players in the premier, so you are 100% on the wind up if you think he's average. wink
