Just woke up and saw the scoreline - can anyone fill me in on a brief 'what happened' trying to read the comments here looks like we had a strange game.

Cheers

What's Lloris's stats out of interest? He's best keeper in the world again.

Shame we are doing so well at the same time as Man City - we could do fantasticly well and still not do it.

.
This is indeed the unfortunate thing for Liverpool, 9 seasons out of 10 Liverpool would be miles clear by now.

Bloody shame.

We were crap to average for most of the game. Put a bit of a spurt on and scored 2 pretty quickly.
Break away goal near the end after some smart work from the keeper.
Keita did OK.

Burnley not good.

Overall, not that great but 3 fking 1, get in.

Any news on Gomez?
Appeared to injure his ankle. Hopefully not the same one he had surgery on prior to the World Cup.

Klopp confirms that Gomez has an ankle injury and is facing a spell out.

This means we are facing a spell of Lovren.

Told you Bobby just needed a rest. wink

No easy games in this league, all those changes and we did well to still get the win.

Credit to Klopp for trusting in the squad 100%

Cool thanks

Win ugly is fine by me.

Great that Keita has stepped up - quality player.

I'd be a bit more positive despite my comments in the first half. Burnley gave it a real go, tried to rough us up, 0 0 in the first half was fair.

From the hour mark we played much better. They got lucky with their goal and in truth apart from a few corners offered very little going forward.

VVD and Milner were good, Keita was more than ok, looked the player we knew we had bought finally.

We also had a 10 or 15 minute spell at 2 : 1 where we were all over them and actually good to watch.

Compounded by the fact his replacements are average.

I’d have him a close second behind Virgil.

Keita beginning to look like the player on his youtube clips. Love to see him and Fab playing together consistently.

Never mind YouTube today was what i saw when I watched his Red bull he's, he always had that class, he opens up so much for us, we would have seen even more of him today I think if our normal front 3 were playing..
His ability to carry the ball from midfield is exactly what we need...

Even though Shaq scored I was very disappointed with him today, not at his normal level.
Milner had a very good game, Hendo quiet
VVD is just a freak

If someone said Alison was 80m and Virgil 100m and we had only seen them on loan I'd snap them both up now, huge huge diff to us

Would like to see fab,Milner,Keita next see how that goes

That would be my midfield now for the next run of games.

Agreed, although with so many big games coming thick and fast it'll get mixed up over the next month.

Liverpool have the least amount of goals conceded in any of Europe’s Top 5 leagues

Alisson’s save rate of 85% is the highest in Europe

Only Manchester City and Bayern Munich (2 games in hand) have allowed less shots on target
