Can tell the Spuds fans are southerners, absolutely obsessed with money it seems. Although surprisingly they're the ones being tight, and being happy about it.
I think it's just jealousy that they're a slightly worse version of us.Edited by NRS on Sunday 9th December 12:58
Like them we live within our means, have a strict wage structure and promote youth. But unlike them we're bigger and more successful so we can do that whilst still being able to afford world record fees and top wages.

I dont think there's a spurs fan on the planet that would have swapped places with liverpool in the last 10 years. In fact the Jealousy has been from the other way as evidenced by these very forums.
Youve always spent money, we never really have. it is was it is. That we spend nothing seems to upset others more than it upsets us.

I think you'll find that they've finished above us twice in the last century, just ask them.
In reality, they're just upset as they're the third best team in London, and they still don't know where all the bale money went...

Fantastic artwork but can't see it last with those bitters around

Decent car wash in the back ground too https://twitter.com/JoeRimmer88/status/10717490870...
Drop it off there, £10 clean inside and out and walk 5 mins into town.
We haven't had a squad this strong in a long time.
It is some feat to have amassed 42 points in 16 games with changing our style of play and be above a side like City who are favorites to win it and even David Luiz says are the best team In Europe.
I know they are missing KDB and Aguero at the moment however it feels like we still haven't even got out of 2nd gear but have only concede 6 goals all season
In years gone by it has been our defence that we have been let down by. We were scared when we had to hold on to a lead.
Now we have Alisson in goal and VvD commanding the back line, along with Andy Robertson our Scottish marauding warrior and a young homegrown player at RB. Sad to see Gomez out for the Christmas period but he will come back in for the run in and we have Lovren and Matip to stand in for him. Both players performances should be stabilised standing next to Virgil.
Fabinho and Keita have looked impressive the past couple of games and we still have Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Lallana and Shaqiri,
Front 3 pick themselves and we have Sturridge and Origi as rotating options for them. The attacking choices we have I feel is the area where we fall off a little in quality when a sub is needed but we still certainly should be happy with the squad in terms of cover for the entire season, Klopp has progressed us a lot as an overall team 3 years after his arrival.
Our next league game is Man Utd and for once I feel confident going into the match that the players can control the game and stay watertight. VvD's height will be integral and Salah's finishing will need to be on point because De Gea can have days where nothing will go past him. Let's just hope he keeps his recent form up
Firstly, Napoli and the step to the next round of the Champions League. The best tournament in football where home and away nights under the lights feel special. I will be happy with 1-0 in the 89th minute. Revenge.
