You are in a precarious position, top of the league but with City and Spurs breathing down your necks you can't really afford to drop points.
we have the Very slight safety net of being able to lose 1 game and still be top. So hopefully we wont start looking over our shoulder every match and heaping the Pressure on ( And hopefully no mid-field Huddles From Stevie G laugh)

Its not exactly a disastrous position to be in is it? I mean I admire your wishful thinking but I will think he'll be OK smile

(provided we beat Brighton and stop the rot)
Lets not forget we have also played City twice, been away to Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal,

Spurs still have City away, Chelsea away

Nope not at all. My point was simply that you have two players you paid quite a bit of money for who I'd imagine you were hoping to get in the side sooner rather than later to add a bit more quality and\or options to your midfield but at the moment you can't afford to risk giving them the game time they need to get up to speed because of where you are in the league but as usual it's snowflake central in here. smile
Do you know what a snowflake is? His reply was just saying things could be a lot worse - not him being hurt or getting angry etc. We're still not expecting to win the league, far too long to go. Many of the "oh, you're so sensitive" replies you lot highlight are nothing to do with being hurt etc. It's just you portray them that way to have a few giggles.

I was a bit shocked with the snowflake comment myself, Adam is always calm hehe

Guv likes to try 'subtly' wum though, this was shown when we went out of the cup and he made it out to be something we should go for when a little search on here shows him saying he wants Spurs out of the cups (when they were going for the league with Leicester)

I'd say a precarious position would be 17th and 4 points above the drop zone, not where we are.

Would you like to trade places?
Precarious as in you can't really afford to drop too many points if you want to win the league (which I assume you do). Are people always so sensitive in this thread?
laugh well I don't get called sensitive often,
so thanks!

I don't think anyone can really afford to drop points, not this season.

Exactly. The race for the top is more competitive than it has ever been between the teams.

The race for top four is also very competitive between more teams than there's ever been.

No one can afford to drop points.

So being 4 points clear at the top is precarious. What wouldn't be precarious then? 6 points clear? 7? 12?! It's January FFS, anything can happen. I'd rather be precariously at the top of the table by 4 PRECARIOUS points than be elsewhere right now...

hehe I prefer "intolerance of WUM'ing tttery" but I suppose it was.... hehe Not once have I thought what a precarious situation we're in. And I doubt anyone else (apart from the ususal suspects who visit us here) does either. We're in the best position - and yet nowhere near being guaranteed a title. We all know that. It is what it is.

Has Sye hacked your account?! You seem to just be completely making stuff up, given the poll shows almost 2x the number of neutrals want us to win compared to you, and more neutrals want us to win that City. Spurs are the new Liverpool these days - cocky fans that no one wants winning the league, hehe

You missed this quality quote then from a person who knows what they are on about!

Gumbo 74: I would like to see LFC win it - they've been close a few times and have also invested strongly in the ground and playing group. Klopp, too, appears a genuinely good bloke. Anyone but Spurs - they really wouldn't shut up for 12 months!

Very good point about the graph! And a few random % here and there!

Gumbo's wrong, we wouldn't shut up about it for at least 20 years!

The best thing I took from that, is that Spurs are still Spursy. Best points haul after 21 games and they're still only third.
