Arthur and Vidal are starting ahead of him at the moment which is probably why the rumour mill has started. I personally wouldn't read anything into it and wouldn't have him back even if it were true.

I guess for me the question would be where does he play, assuming Kieta comes good?

Eh I said it the beginning of the season but then again I have done every year for the last 20 years apparantly.

Maybe we could have PC on loan, he can be backup lol.

Yeah Type R, despite you banging the drum a little, based on a whole 2 games I'd say Fab would be fantastic as a CB. But as Sye says he'd be a much better option in the middle.

We've been a little lucky today really. Yeah we were the better team but if wasn't for a little magic moment it could've easily been 0-0. Fantastic win, teams that win leagues have plenty of these games. In fact, Manure won their last title by scraping wins here n there.

You'll have to be more specific than that mate smile

Didn't mean it to sound arsey. I was basically agreeing with what you said based on his 2 games as CB. He looks bloody awesome there.

Just heard on MOTD. Salah has 48 goals in 59 games. Been fantastic for us, not bad for a Winger/Forward/Striker.

£140m for PC was daylight robbery. I remember saying on here you'd be better off without him and was chastised for it laugh

Rumor is Barca want rid and want ericksen to replace him. I think they should persevere with PC personally laugh
We got good money after telling them 3 times he wasn't for sale, they paid over the odds but they had to.

I'd have him back for £80m.

Ok fair enough smile. I basically said I thought he did well, whilst Fab wasn't stretched what he had to do, he did and kept it relatively simple. Never ever felt nervous (like I generally do when the other chap plays) despite having a midfielder playing as a defender, in a massive game, which is the best compliment I can pay.

Some of us thought we could do it at the start of the season and even said the how and the why.

It’s all about the D. It’s always about the D.

Who on earth starts the season thinking we can’t do it? I imagine fans of all the top 4 or 5 top clubs think they can do it. I certainly think we can do it every season though never, in recent years, think we WILL do it, ie that we should be favourites.

Most on here including me thought City were favourites but we had a chance, now I am 50/50.

I manage to convince myself that we can do it every year, even when we had Roy!

Yes we've got a great chance, but I still think city are favourites, all we can do is win our games, I won't allow myself to 'believe' unless we're still in this position come March/April.

Even then, we're only 4 points ahead (most likely), and we were 3 points ahead on the 27th of April when Gerrard had his slip.

It was a different team then, this team is miles better, but let's not even go there as our next game is Palace, at home this time though.

Yes maybe 40/60 rather than 50/50. We are scraping some results whereas City seem to cruise through theirs

I wouldn't have PC back and wasn't that bothered when he went.
I think he would unbalance us and cost a decent chance of a title.

Flame away.

Apart from palace and Leicester

We have been cruising through ours apart from yesterday, that was always going to be a tight game, selective memory a bit there Adam look at our last 8 prem games and look at Citys.

We have scored more than them and have a better goal difference, remove the cup memories out of your mind
