So then, are we going to win the league?

The stats say yes but I remember 08/09 and 13/14 and think we'll fall short.

Good win of course but Salah needs to stop falling over in the box with little contact aka diving

He has got away with a couple that have had some justification but not that one
He dived yesterday, for sure. That's unacceptable.
Especially with his skills. Wasn't even touched, maybe the slightest touch on his back then threw himself down some time later. Kloop needs to get that out of his game, because refs will have seen that now.

I would like to say yes but we nearly just got turned over by Palace which would have had us at 1 point ahead and that's nothing.

So 4 points ahead with 15 games ahead I can't say we will.

4 points ahead with 5 games to go and I feel we could

Exactly and I hope some of the people above are joking, I don’t approve of diving

Yep i put our chances at 50/50 - some tricky games still to come and we will need City to drop points as we are likely to, thier cup runs may distract them though

4 points with 1 game to go I still wouldn't be 100%

I've only seen it once, so no idea really how much contact there was. I don't approve of diving, but at the same time I think it's worse that fouls that are given all over the pitch aren't given in the box unless the player goes down.

I don't blame a player that is fouled and goes down unnecessarily if the foul wouldn't have been given if they'd stayed on their feet. I think one or two of the recent pens Salah has won fall into that category.

I'm seeing signs that make me think "yes we can".

I'm hoping it will happen this season, just to get this bloody thing off our backs and shut up some of the silly WUM'ing.

City close the gap as expected. 3-0 up.

Hanging on to our coat tails.

Do you approve of Robertson's handball that led to our 4th? What about claiming a corner that came off you and not the opponent? Or tactically bringing down someone on the halfway line to stop a counterattack?

It's all cheating. And when it goes for us I genuinely couldn't care less. smile

How come Nuno Gomes got sent of yesterday for celebrating down the touchline and Klopp got away with running on the pitch after beating City?
Because the FA is totally Biased towards us and are giving us a get out of jail card in every match.

I would fking love it if we won the league via an offside goal or something, just purely for the pure hatred that would follow hehe

Robertson’s handball looked accidental.

Claiming a corner or throw that you know it’s yours - no I think it’s stupid and dishonest.

Tactical foul - don’t lose too much sleep as it’s usually punished with a yellow so you pay a price.

And I don’t like a dive even if it’s in our favour, in fact I really dislike it and want the FA to bring in retrospective bans regardless of whether ref saw it or not. I feel embarrassed when our players do it. The Newcastle one he went down cheaply but at least there was a pullback before, Brighton was a clear pen but yesterday was a dive and he should have been booked.

Just my 2p and how I play the game (albeit somewhat less at stake) but I’m probably old fashioned.

I see you lot are off for some warm weather training.

Most of the team are off to Dubai. Salah is off to the Red Sea to complete his PADI qualification.

Opponents nothing to write home about though.

If Spurs lose today that means Utd are just 4 points off them. Not that I want to see Utd back in the top four, but I think PH would explode if we won our first PL title and Utd managed to overhaul Spurs in to 3rd or 4th.

I think Utd will scrape into top 4 unfortunately, would rather it’s at the expense of Chelsea than Spurs

I would much rather any team got in the top 4 at the expense of Utd.Don't have contact with any Spurs fans apart from the knobbers on here but I have friends and enemies who support the Mancs.

Watched the match tonight. Wasn't a bad game. Fulham bottled it in the last 10 minutes despite holding their own.

Nice that we've got a bit of a break now but we never seem to come back actually any sharper.
