I don't understand IPTV. Never used it in all honesty. Currently I use a Nvidia Shield with mostly a mixture of Ronaldo7.net for footy and Showbox for films.. Obviously there's a few other apps that can do the job also but they're the main ones I use in conjuction Nord. If all else fails there's always Kodi but that's a wee bit slow and cumbersome. Ronaldo7 provides over 20 links for every game, occasionally it's a bit of faffing depending on the links but I'll generally always watch HD streams.

Am I missing something with IPTV that can't be done already... But for free?

I see we're being linked with a few players, looks like we're looking for a striker.
I think Sye has shares in the company!

Tragic - hope they find them alive, but doesn't sound likely, frown

50 a year.

Blimey, that's a lot more than I thought it would be. Each to their own I guess but being a full on tight arse nowadays free is much more appealing. Ta.

The villa we rented in the summer had an IPTV box. From a user perspective it meant we could watch ANY english speaking channel from ANY of the UK providers. All sports, all Sky, Virgin etc..., and as easily as using a normal tv box. No great downsides, occasionally the feeds would get a bit ropey but that could well have been due to local internet as we were on Tenerife.

I looked into it as the service was great but decided I could get to what I wanted to watch via streams and torrents so didn't bother .

Worth checking out if you are paying anyone for a TV subscription though! I don't, so the £5 a month or whatever it was wouldn't save me anywhere else so I didn't bother.

I think ultimately that was my take on it. I binned Sky last May and haven't really missed it. Pay nowt but the tv licence now.

ANYway, talking about such things is "forum dodgy area" so best we all stick to the footy.

Terrible about that young Cardiff signing. Might have been best getting him on the train over, or a scheduled flight..

The behind the scenes vid from the Palace game is up on YT:

Took a still from the legends posing for pics at half time. Seeing them look so old made me feel rather ancient, seeing as they were all idols at 1 time or another.

That's despicable. Not a single clue what you're on about though. You clearly totally misunderstood what I said. I was only suggesting a single engined private plane isn't perhaps the most reliable form of transport especially at night.

Do you take everything you read on the internet as Gospel? Even if this were true, when does one tweet represent an entire football fanbase?

Ever thought it actually might just be a wind-up... to give muppets something to froth to.

I think you owe Flip an apology!

Sadly the tweet was real. The account holder has apparently had a few similar accounts on which he's chosen to be offensive about various issues. Social media gives censored a stage upon which to be censored

Still, whoever he/she is, they're not an LFC spokesperson issuing statements on behalf of the club or fanbase. They're just a censored with access to twitter.

It's a very sad situation.

People are quick to slag others off on the internet. Expecting apologies is quite another matter. Either way, whoever wrote that on Twitter, even as a wind up...pretty scummy thing to do. Seems that not even tragic accidents are exempt from internet fkwittery...

In other news, the Ox is expected to be available for selection sometime in March! Should be back in full training by mid to late February, according to TIA. Can’t link from my iPad...saw the article on their FB page though late last night.

That is great news. Even if used sparingly great to have him in and around the squad.

It’s not just the internet though is it. Society’s moral compass has gone off the deep end.
Be it racist Chelsea fans, our liberal view on life- people generally doing one another over- it’s just easier to do all that from behind a computer screen.

It's always been this way. The internet just makes it 1000x more visible.
