Learnt what? That Scousers are thieving bds so don't live there or have anything to do with them, at all?

Or that having your car stolen from your home is a better result than just your jewellery?

I love the way people talk about crime up north but conveniently forget that London was literally on fire a few years back.

Errrr.... no.

Schalke will need to score at least two goals in Manchester to progress. And hope Man C score none.

Man City have booked themselves in to the next round with that scoreline tonight.
I thought we had unilaterally changed the away goals rule.
Sorry.
Both wrong.

As of 2018/19 var pens count double, so city will need to score at least once at home, or get half a var pen to progress.
I must have missed a parrot somewhere. smile

But because I can't let it drop despite an expected incoming parrot... laugh

Regulations of the UEFA Champions League 2018-21 Cycle 2018/19 Season:
Article 20 Away goals rule, extra time and kicks from the penalty mark20.01For matches played under the knockout system, if the two teams involved in a tiescore the same number of goals over the two legs, the team which scores moreaway goals qualifies for the next stage. If this procedure does not produce aresult, i.e. if both teams score the same number of goals at home and away, two15-minute periods of extra time are played at the end of the second leg. If bothteams score the same number of goals during extra time, away goals countdouble (i.e. the visiting team qualifies for the next stage). If no goals are scoredduring extra time, kicks from the penalty mark determine which team qualifies forthe next stage.

That article was from 2017 when Mane's house was first broken into. Tuesday was the second time it has happened to him.

I'm not sure either

I imagine he can afford decent security / alarms - short of every player having a security guard in the house every time we play a match I am not sure what they can do. Maybe the club has to do that, as its clear a gang is operating in the area, and knows when players are out

Detective Inspector Phil Mahon said: "I would ask the offenders to do the right thing and return the stolen items to the owner in any way possible."

yeah right

There is lot's that can be done. A thorough security review of the property, weak entry points identified and resolved, CCTV linked to an immediate response security team/police. The fact it has happened twice probably means lessons haven't been learnt.

There is a clear link between football players being targetted and the time when the burglary is being committed. Private security companies offer patrol services.

I thought this was all part and parcel of the wonderful culture of Liverpool so you either learn to live with it or move. Every major city has crime but only one has an actual reputation for it. After all a million hub cab\if it's not nailed down it's gone Scouser jokes can't be wrong. wink

I’m sure he has a very sophisticated security system installed in his house but the kind of bandits that do these higher profile burglaries are always one stop ahead sadly . More worrying for me would be the fact that someone or probably more than one person has been following & watching his recent movements.

fking scary stuff but I guess this thing goes with the rewards of being a pro footballer .
