Welcome back BCM! This is the first time in yonks that we have outnumbered the Messi/Ronaldo/Salah wum's.

I hope we make a good show of it in the league cup but Poch never seems to rate it sadly.

Was the word you used the same as a famous roller coaster ?
It was. I won't use it again tbf it probably is but then if it is then so is spud.. maybe we just aren't as quick with the report button.

Anyway it's not worth bothering about Come on the Everton make my weekend laugh
I read your post before the edit and didn't notice anything remotely insulting - still not sure what the word that was the issue was! I just didn't reply earlier as I had just woke up a bit grumpy so thought best not to carry things on, smile

Okay good. TBF I was pretty grumpy too. Just reading the same thing over and over does my head in especially when it isn't true.

Anyway hope your day got better. Bloody Scousers (I can say that right?) Ruined mine laugh

Tiger will hopefully improve mine in the next few hours...

I believe you can say it, but I never picked up on the other word, so who knows! Generally getting better, wisdom teeth problem that are slowly getting better, although I guess then they'll have to remove them. Chelsea lost which was good, apart from meaning if we don't win the league from here that we bottled it. Hope you had a better day too.

Just get the wisdom teeth out. Mine used to press on a nerve which caused terrible migraines. Best thing I ever did. If you want them out on a budget just go to New WHL and tell the workers that you're confiscating the party fizz.

Genuine question based on above - is spud derogatory? Can’t stand the fairground ride one - thoroughly unpleasant so certainly don’t want to be guilty of same.

I thought it was just a nickname, or lazy Aussie-like abbreviation - if so shall cease using it

It's weird - it doesn't generally bother me I just consider it bants but the fact PH keep putting it in the thread title really irks. Don't know why, but it does.

I don't find the Spud thing offensive at all tbh.

Well it's not said as a term of endearment is it? laugh

That said it doesn't really bother me that much although for some reason it does in the title.

It was more hypocrisy I was alluding too.
Anyway I won't use the word again it wasn't my intention to offend.

Moving on our 'home' game in Milton Keynes, anyone other than 48 going? laugh

Fair enough, I honestly thought it was something Spurs fans used themselves (possibly as its in the thread title)

If not I will stop, an R is as easy to type as a D!

People are offended by those two terms?

I don't think anyone really can be, but wouldn't it be great if it was added to PH's naughty word list

Rumour has it he rang the club to ask what time K.O was the reply was 'what time can you get here?'

For some reason I genuinely thought it was. hehe Just thought it was a cute little nickname you gave yourselves honestly.

I use it all the time.

If somebody asks who I support I say I'm a spud.

If it was a form of insult it's lost on me and like the Y word has become a term I associate myself with now.
