I agree with whats been said before, just say it will be open next season and be done with it.

All this will it, won't it is more damaging than anything. Take it out the equation, take the pressure off and get it done properly for the start of next season.

Even if that is the case, doesn't change anything. You got lucky. But I've always said you need a bit of luck to go all the way in the ECL.

I believe that if Barca needed to get a win out of that game last night they would have done.
I'd struggle to come up with a scenario whereby Barca needed to win their last game and likewise we would also....that would suggest that all the previous games had been completely different resutls and if so, we'd have already qualified/been knocked out....

What's not to like?

Well firstly that God awful song, and secondly the fans, I was unlucky enough to make friends with a few insufferable blokes back in the day when i lived in London, they were even nice enough to come back up north for my wedding. I sent straight back them home after tho smile

It's just a hypothetical situation and just my own view. A fully armed Barca would have been a different proposition I'm sure you would agree?

Credit where it's due you got through. That's all any of us want to do at this stage.

What is it with Non Spurs on here

All the 'excuses' why we got that result.

It was because we went nose to nose with the 11 they put out

And even any on them could walk into Chavski or the Arab team any day

And then that tt Darke still gives a plug to ManU Why????????

Still hopefully at least one CL game at the New Lane ( which is more than the Cameldome and the Kremlin combined)

i'll get me coat
We've been upsetting the apple cart for years. because we are achieving it means one of Man U / Liverpool / Arsenal / Chelsea have been missing out. People dont like that.

Note how the 'big 4' has now become 'the big 6' because we had the audacity to get involved laugh
Most posts said well done and that was it. That said it was probably because Man U fans don't post this season much, there is no City or Arsenal fans full stop, we Liverpool fans also scraped through so were happy and Chelsea fans are also quiet.

However do remember many Spurs fans were telling us "well done on CL run, BUT you played teams xyz etc" when it's a simple case of beating who you face. Also this season you're saying we're doing well in League, BUT you have had so many more injuries, not playing at home, have hardly spent any money etc. So to put it simply - you started it! angeltongue out

Don't ride him too hard, it's looking increasingly likely that he's going to have to take on the double humiliation of being the last team to lose at the Old WHL and the first team to lose at the New WHL.
Serious question - do you think it will be played at New WHL as I'm thinking of applying for tickets? If it's Wembley I'm not bothered but I quite fancy having a gawp around your fancy new stadium.
That's the aim of the club...and it is do-able given the right mentality by all involved.

I wonder how we now stand in relation to the first leg of next round of the Champions League - which we will be at home for and which must take place on either the 12th/13th Feb or the following week the 19th/20th Feb.

Lucky laugh

There's nothing lucky about being seeded 2nd and still ending up with a group of Barca inter and psv.

There's nothing lucky about qualifying after being bottom with no points after 3 games.

There's nothing lucky about how we lost the games to inter and psv. Quite the opposite.

There's nothing lucky about needing a result away at the camp nou and getting it.

Sometimes it's worth thinking before typing laugh
