That double save from Lloris was truly world class.

Probably back as the Premier leagues no 1 again.

Using the amazing squad depth we have. All 3 of the amazing goal scoring machine from last season rested tonight. Also if we don't concede tonight then record for fewest goals conceded ever in league - no team have conceded fewer than six after 15 matches of a top-flight season, we have 5 in 14. Seems like Lovren is world class.

Also you have not had a draw in 18 league games! So best to avoid putting a bet on that.

Yep. Some of the football in that game was comical apparently.

Talking of comical one of my mates had a £6 stake on btts in every game of this round of games we all spent the last 20 mins cheering on Southampton laugh he won over £4k. Lucky git.

Just means we're joint on the record now. Still time to beat it going forward.

You're not wrong there. The day they rolled over in the CL was the most quiet here for a long time.
Been a very noisy season in here so far, smile

I'm worried, very worried.

The Gooners who've been posting on here recently have disappeared.

Anyone seen them?

They are always here this time of year. It's when we overtake them that they completely disappear.

Been going on for years. You get used to it.

The curse of conceding a late goal hits again.

Be fair, they could of had a few tbh.

We looked so leggy in the second half, as did Arsenal,

We were strolling around most of the game, definite air of complacency and energy conservation. But to be honest apart from when we were 3-0 up Soton offered nothing, it was all bit too easy. 3pts done. Leicester next.

I disagree. Their attack was a threat throughout the game. Hojbjerg's curling shot from outside the box in the first half was incredible and fully deserved a goal but for an equally amazing save from Lloris. They had 18 shots to our 13. When your goalkeeper is man of the match against a team in the relegation zone something is wrong.

Completely agree. Shame they got 1 but they could easily have had more. We have the worst goal difference of any in the top 5 and that might harm us come the end of the season.

That was in the first half, all their chances came when we were 3-0 up and strolling. Not good I know, but if they had scored earlier I think we'd have pushed on again.

No cause for concern for me. It was a get the job done game and we did it comfortably.

Rumours hitting Twitter that the first test event is going to be 30th December and the second is going to be 9th January with a view to Man Utd at home as the first home game at the new stadium.

Correction 6th Jan not 9th Jan.

The bloke posting on Twitter was spot on with the date of the south stand familiarisation event so fingers crossed his ITK is correct this time.
