Would be my guess too , Nike kit out the entire NFL don’t they ?

Looks like it’s going to be a long association, Just hope they can design some better kits for us.

Plain white would be nice.
Not all but a lot of teams they do.

I wonder if you can back it at the Bookies?
Can we have navy socks with white turnovers?
Good god no !

White stockings please.

It would be nice if the Premiership would do a 'colourways' kit thats used if a teams playing on Monday night - NFL tend to use it only for Thursday Night Football with normal colours for th Sunday

Fat Ashley thinks this is a great idea. I'll stick to my boring old retro hipster spurs shirts.

Jose sacked, Carrick as caretaker till the end of the season. Has anyone gone into the thread of shame yet, not sure if I dare.

It's a shame as I was enjoying watching Jose slowly destroy United.

Bad news is I reckon Poch will definitely be a target for them come summer. I don't think he would go but you never know.

Why would he swap out for a mid-table club?

They will make an approach for Poch. Don't kid yourselves otherwise. I wouldn't expect it to be successful but they will certainly try.

Quote from someone on the Guardian after the Liverpool game for Maureen.

“This was beyond dire – dire squared, dire football played in dire fashion by a dire selection. Imagine a bad plan, enacted badly, by someone not very good at enacting bad plans. Imagine a negative approach, applied with extreme negativity by a group of players feeling negative about the actual merits of all this negativity. Why would anyone want to keep doing this?”

Surely there's only one man in the frame? The fans choice.

Would you turn down Madrid to then go to United?

Think he will be here for a couple more years then who knows. Will want a season in the new stadium and see if those purse strings relax a little.

At least I hope.

This is my thinking as well - United will ask, we will refuse. They will move on, its what the papers spit out week in week out from now that will annoy me more.

At Madrid everyone knows you're on borrowed time from day one. That's not appealling to a manager.

He's in a strong bargaining position now. He's got them over a barrel. Utd will promise him the earth.

I think if Utd had a strong, football based board with plans for longevity, I think Poch would be interested in joining.

But right now I think, with Ed at the helm, Spurs represents a more interesting project than Utd.

They can try but they are asking him to give up...

London
Far superior training ground
Far superior stadium
Far superior current team
Stability (even if he doesn't win stuff - which he hasn't yet)
A team that believes in him
A team he believes in
And he's currently on £8.5m per year so he's no pauper.

Never. Going. To. Happen.

Sadly I have to agree, Poch would be my choice but I don't think he's realistic at this point. I hope to be proven wrong though.

And until he is a United manager he's poo and hasn't won anything of course. smile

I'm not saying Utd will be successful in their attempt, but saying he will dismiss their offer without a second thought is looking at it through Spurs tinted glasses IMO.

Utd are a much bigger club and an approach is coming. I think it will fail as I think he'd rather go to Spain, but it's coming and he will listen to what they've got to say.

Unlike United where every manager gets to work the whole duration of their contract?

I think they (and every other club on earth come to that hehe ) give you a fairer crack of the whip than Madrid. Look what they did to Zidane.
