So yet another pointless International break, even Klopp was having a pop at it in his interview the other day.

I take it half the Spurs team will be on International duties again?

this one is well needed for us i think.

Chance for Ali, verts, Ericken and Dembele to recover.

If certain reports are to be believed, Eriksen might not be back for a while. His agent has denied the rumours since but then he would say that.

I agree this break has come at a good time for us. Hopefully it gives injured players a chance to recover though the Eriksen "chronic" injury does sound worrying.

I posted about it yesterday - it's VERY worrying as he's our creative dynamo.

His agent has stated that.

“Christian has no chronic injuries — nobody has said that. He just has an injury related to some fatigue and, for that reason, he is having some rest. That is normal because otherwise it would not heal.

“Somebody has not translated well. Christian is doing everything to be back as soon as possible.”

Just to be clear are you saying his agent is telling lies?

I guess at this point we don't know what the deal is with the injury but I certainly wouldn't trust an agent whose prime interest will be to preserve the value of his client. The chronic injury could indeed all be BS but I'd want to hear that from a more reliable source.

Just think if we had taken any of our many first half chances against Watford, we would be top now.

Club in crisis eh laugh

We've had a very easy run of games to be fair. Our next 6 are pretty stinky.

Stinky is an understatement. As long as Sissoko and Dier are starting then we have a big fat smelly hole in the middle of the park. I don't care that he strung two simple passes together. That Lamela is benched for either of them is criminal.

As for injuries you have to read between the lines. Jesus said that it is up to the player how much gets revealed.

"In this situation, a big part is the player. Because sometimes you have to agree with the player what do you want to explain outside? Because they have the right about injuries, diseases, whatever they have."

There is one word that sticks out for me in that.

Spurs players in STD crisis!!

IRTA: His agent received a swift phone call from Danny and the boys after his first statement was published and has rapidly had to retract some of what he said and blame it on mistranslation.

Surprised Southgate isn't playing Rose with his injury.

We miss Ericksen terribly when he doesn't play. Not buying chronic anything though he's hardly ever out.

Yep when he's on his game we are different gravy. I'd rate his contributions on a par with Kane.

I've transferred my Eriksen boner this season to Coco. We're all playing pretty crap this season but he seems to give it his all and I love it. How he doesn't get a start over Sissoko or Dier is criminal. He would make a great CM.

I bet he's pleased laugh

Agree he should be playing not so sure I'd play him that far back though he'd be sent of every 5 mins. While Ericksen and Ali are out I'd play him central in a 3 of son him and moura behind Kane.
