Agree, the mass hysteria and subsequent smear campaign lasted for months, even into the England games which I thought was odd seeing as it's our national team but obviously some people still weren't over it. Some Liverpool supporter even hacked Alli's account FFS and published pics of him getting noshed off as revenge which I think we can all agree is taking things a bit too far in any sane world.

Our mickey taking of Salah is positively tame in comparison.

I'd feel a mixture of delight and embarrassment, the extent of which would depend on how the rest of the game went - were there other key decisions that went against us incorrectly? Did we dominate?
