Was at Wembley today, my youngest lad is going to do his degree there from September 2019 and the Uni had its Open Day there today.

Had a guided tour from the brilliant chap who does them, he's a Spurs fan too, very funny. It is unbelievably big when you're down at pitchside - there were some bits we couldn't go in as obviosuly there's a game there this Sunday but it was a fantastic way to spend an hour.

A 3pm game on a Saturday is bareable IF the trains are running (which they rarely are) as you can take the whole day and just lazily meander back through London and make a trip of it.

Everything else about it sucks. Its also not a good football stadium, great for visibility, st for atmosphere.

Ironically I can get to Wembley quicker than I can get to WHL if I take a particular train which runs once an hour direct. But for some bizarre reason the same train doesn't seem to make the return journey and I end up having to make 1-2 changes which never ever go to plan. As you say a 3pm Saturday kick off (remember those?) is not to bad but a Sunday game or evening game is a complete ball ache. It's why I took to getting a hotel after the evening games because it was just too much hassle and getting home after midnight on a school night isn't funny.

It’s the stop start queues at the LU Wembley Park approach that boils my piss then the free for all dash to the platforms on the rare occasion that I go to that horrid soulless bowl.

I usually stand in the Line e like freezing my conkers off thinking I could now be home nestled up to Mrs BCM’s ample bossems .

We seem to be in a no win situation for us on Sunday .

Win & the United fans will want OGS gone & persist in unsettling our manager.

Lose could well make the United fans want to stick with their new messiah but will surely end any faint hope of winning the title as well as putting our target top 4 finish under threat.

Still wanna win .

If he's the new messiah then why would we want to get rid because we lost to Spurs? Very strange outlook.

I'd have thought it was pretty obvious, he's a temporary manager and this is his first tough game since he has been in charge. Crunch games like this may well decide whether he stays long term or not.

You'll be right there, Mick. Had to be at Wembley for 2pm on a weekday, must be a doddle compared to a matchday. Even getting away last night at 6pm was hassle free, but that was just normal stuff. Couldn't believe the level of construction going on around the ground... coming from rural Somerset as I do, there was a lot of pointing at cranes yesterday, that's for sure. hehe

Speaking of which I drove past NWHL yesterday for my usual Thursday night football session. What on earth have they done to the light phasing? As you approach the High Road from White Hart Lane, the traffic lights to let you onto the High Road go on for about 20 seconds which is enough to let about 3 cars through before you wait around 3 mins (no exaggeration) for the next phase.

There is hardly any traffic on a Thursday night at that time of night and yet there was a queue of 30 cars going up White Hart Lane and it took me about 20 minutes to move about 200m just to get to the High Road.

I sincerely hope this is a temporary measure and they aren't going to leave it like that.

He wasn't talking about long term though, he said we will want to get rid because of losing to Spurs which won't be the case. Also there is no chance any sane fan will want him gone due to one result. He's been a revelation for the club imo.

They're not Bcm's actual thoughts though, they're just stupid posts designed to get reactions like all his other posts.

Be fair here if United loses to Spurs some will suggest that maybe OGS isn’t good enough at the top level,

If United win then it will put OGS & the United fans in a much better place .

Even the dimmest of Goldbridge fans can see that .

True enough - you're only as good as your last game. Certainly in this flamin' league.

If we lose to Spurs I for one won't be saying he's not good enough, get rid. We should be realistic. Under Ole things have improved. Goals scored, goals conceded, points per game, smiles per player, opposition fans shutting the fk up! ....etc etc. Win and it's just another 3 points on the way to hopefully securing champions league for next year. Lose and we go again.

Ole gets a free ride from me til the season end.

I don't expect we'll finish top 4 but I'm hoping to enjoy the ride.

Any United fan who thinks after one game against a top side justifies ogs' position then they're a dick as far as I'm concerned.

Poch is not going to United. OGS is not going to be their long term manager.

Non-stories, it's just a game between a top 4 team vs mid table team.
