Not sure how old you are but I've been around for a while and understand the difference between a marathon and a sprint.

Over the balance of the previous seasons, City are the champions-elect and Liverpool are the best challengers. This season to date Liverpool have put themselves in the box seat to challenge City for the title.

Spurs have lost 6 games already this season. City and Liverpool and lost 1 and 4 respectively.

It's always best to pass judgement on a round once all the teams have played the same number of games.
