Bang average Bobby shows his averageness once again. Really don't get what they see in that guy.
11 goals and 3 assists for bang average Bobby.

He'd be third on your list behind, Son and footballs diving knight biggrin

He has been poor the last few games but you dont suddenly rate a player poor due to form, he looks way off at the moment though. I actually am getting tired of seeing Salah up top and him dropping so deep, I would like to see Salah back out wide cutting in with his runs, he seems to easy to mark as the main top man.

It's easy to look good if you pick the ball up and run at people - you'll stand out a bit if you operate like that in a midfield full of sideways / backwards passers.

Trouble is when there's no end result - running in to a dead end and giving the ball away and not chasing back to try and correct your mistake is unforgivable really.

I think he just needs game time to settle in the pace of the PL and integrate with his team mates. Look at how Son and Sissoko have evolved from being a bit suspect to quite good in one case and less suspect in the other.
He did that once, in the 1st half - his actual pass completition on the night was 90% -

I am not saying for 1 minute he was very good last night but I dont get why people single him out when there was far poorer performers on the pitch.

There is no time in football but like you say some players simply take longer, he was rated one of the best attacking CM's in Europe for a couple of years when we snapped him up, with Barca and Bayern wanting him, he has not suddenly in 6 months become a bad player things are not clicking one bit which I can forgive but he just needs to make sure he never again jogs when losing the ball as that wont sit well with fans.

Wijnaldum is key for our team we need to get him back in and quick.

Amen brother, I thought it was only me .

That West Ham Anderson chap looks an ideal player for Liverpool. Kind of player they lack IMHO.

Sorry, just don't think an average of a dozen goals per season is that great a haul for a central striker and yes I've heard all the arguments that there is more to his game then just goals.

As for the diving knight, I think your Salah has very much taken on that mantle this year. Arise sir Dive-a-lot.

Come Wednesday evening at about 10 pm the nightmare may well be over and Liverpool will no longer be top of the Premier League.

Yep top player, he will be snapped up soon

GUV - Firmino has not been our central striker this year, salah has, we changed from a 4 3 3 to a 4 2 3 1

He currently plays (last night for eg)

Mane Firmino Lallana

Yep, then you can spend the rest of the season moaning about how city have bought the league again.

Which for you, is better than us being top, I suppose. smile

Short answer is because the other far poorer performers didn't cost 52 million quid and weren't hailed as the second coming. wink

And I think it perfectly fair to be disappointed with what we have seen so far.

All the others have goodwill credit in the bank.

Overall I still think he has a good chance of doing the business - he's still young.

He still will be a brilliant player for us I have no doubt - but like you said some people time a bit more time (He didnt ask for a price tag of 50m at 22)

The same people writing him off for us,wrote off Ox, Fab, and so on

Hmmm - wonder if they'd like to take a prolific Dutch center forward on loan? He'd form a terrific partnership with Salah - one winning the penalties the other scoring them idea
