Yeah sorry.i just find it hard to see how people can shoot something living for fun.
Apologies to all & sleep well
Do you eat meat BCM? I'd say it is much better to have free range animals who have lived a good life, rather than some of the farmed animals who have lived a much worse life stuck in a shed (this is not saying all farm animals will have done so).Apologies to all & sleep well
You lot are going to turn up and put in best performance of the season against us, can just see it now,

For the first time in years literally I worry we might get thrashed by you. Normally look forward to these derbies as we tend to do ok but we are absolutely all over the place now and anything could happen. We could easily pinch a win, or go down 4-0. We've lots of injuries, but tbh no one knows what/who the actual first team and formation is any longer any way. Last night's team was obviously a swap up but the guys who beat Fulham may not be it either.
Not looking forward to it one bit and a win for us means nothing and solves nothing, other than local bragging rights satisfaction. The season is already a dead duck and bad as it sounds the only hope is you lot don't win the league lol. Happy days eh!

Well in all honesty, even though we're top and above you by 16 points or whatever it is, I'm still worried about Sunday. We've lots of injuries, but tbh no one knows what/who the actual first team and formation is any longer any way. We've got a bit of an injury crisis in defence at the moment with Gomez, Matip and possibly Trent out.
Even though you've shown nothing this season that would give anyone a hint that you might have a chance against us, you're still man utd, and it would come as no surprise to me if you turned us over.

You clearly haven’t seen us “play” this season. We've got a bit of an injury crisis in defence at the moment with Gomez, Matip and possibly Trent out.

We’ll take it to the dippers on Sunday.

No but back when we were really 70/80’s Shiite and Liverpool were ruling Europe we had a great record if not the best at Anfield.

It’s always been the other team’s cup final. The scouser best us a few time under Fergie, against the odds. We’ll take it to the dippers on Sunday.

Danny Murphy. At the time the Salford Suite didn't serve Guinness, instead selling bottles of Murphys.
Post match was easy to spot the Scouser by the drink in front of him.

I'd like us to go strong and play to get a win.
We need momentum.
Well that didn't happen. We need momentum.
Was like watching a match whilst massively hungover.
Just hope that the reason for the players lack of hunger was because they are all thinking about Sunday. I'm not going to get drawn into how poor individual players were, I especially won't get drawn into how poor Fred and Perreira were.
Massive game for us that is. We'll not go there and show any footballing genius and really take the game to Liverpool but if we can get a win then it will be a massive fillip for us. Bring it on.

So lacklustre last night. Worst I’ve seen personally since the city 5-1 in 89. Was like watching a match whilst massively hungover.

Nothing like a cornered Jose. He’s proved his point to the rest of the squad last night. Pogba can have no complaints about being benched again. I do hope Martial is fit.

I don't take anything for granted.

Things can change, but I Judge things on the balance of probabilities and directional travel. We lose on both counts, and a swallow won’t make a summer.
Quite. We have been shown over and over again that Mou can sometimes pull out a result but that it immediately goes back to utter dross the next game. ORD said:

Quite. We have been shown over and over again that Mou can sometimes pull out a result but that it immediately goes back to utter dross the next game. We've qualified for the ECL knockout with a game to go, only City out of the English teams did that as we know. Liverpool and Spurs could so easily have gone out on the night the other night. So you would take our group results as a positive. Young Boys proving last night that us beating Juventus in a one off game wasn't necessarily too much to celebrate.
If you look at the prem, Spurs just as an example, they have lost the same number of games than us but lie 3rd in the league 10 points above us. Conceding early goals and having to come from behind in almost every game we play, only to manage a draw has hurt us beyond belief. It's probably done for the players confidence and as a result they've felt a huge amount of pressure. Probably JM's expectations/demands that they go out and perform and get results is having a detrimental effect. I think that's why we didn't see JM on the touchline at all last night, directing the players. Last night was probably a bit of light relief as the job had largely been done and we didn't need to win.
Injuries have been a joke. We've had to make so many changes to starting 11's that it would be almost impossible to get up a head of steam. Cast minds back to Chelsea when they won the league under Conte and he started the same first 11 in I think the first 13 prem games!
So we've got players that are in and out due to injury/form, Pogba/Mourinho, changes in coaching personnel, the weight of expectation to replicate/better last season's performance in the league, the result against City that knocked the stuffing out of us and we are where we are. Hopefully the players can go out after Sunday's game and start to express themselves a little and actually look like they are enjoying it.
Just my 2p.
You’ve more or less just said that everything that could possibly be wrong with a football club is indeed wrong there. You’ve forgotten the Woodward and Glazer issues though. The club and team is in freefall, it won’t get better under any of the current structure. It’s compounded by two of your fiercest rivals enjoying a upturn in form and future too. You’ve not just fallen to the second best team around, you’re heading towards being the fourth best team in the North West with only Burnley behind you in the Premier League. Everton have anew owner, who seems to like football and has a plan on where he wants the club to go.

It's mad isn't it? Hard to pinpoint exactly what the issue is at United. My belief is it's a few different factors adding up to this situation we find ourselves. What I do know is that only by pulling together can they sort this out. Tempo, touch and off the ball running all need to improve.

Too many “excuses” for me in that lot. I don’t think Maureen knows his best 11 or has a preferred formation or style of play. He has to take a lot of the blame. Some of the players have been terrible, either through lack of confidence, ability or effort.
Woodward and the Board are procrastinating whilst the sand is running through their fingers.
The whole thing is almost as comical as our defending. Which is truly schoolboy.
Whoever said you are in transition a few weeks ago is right - just you're transitioning from the top team in the land to one of the pack. Same as we did before you, and as many of us pointed out could well be happening previously. Which was not WUMing, just we have seen it before with Liverpool, so recognise it is likely happening to you lot now.

That’s a false equivalence. There are comparisons, like prior dominance followed by a downfall, but it doesn’t mean we will go the same way you did. Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
