Mad isn't it.

I'm hoping that UEFA just announce a champions league ban for City (and PSG), it's pretty clear, at least to Der Spiegel, what they've been up to. Even if they do get a ban from the ECL I don't suppose their fans will be too bothered as it's probably doing them a favour from turning up to matches.

City just don't have any history in Europe so I still don't think they "get" what it's all about so probably won't be too bothered.

Muted in the U.K.,the Spanish league are wittering in about it as they have been for years but it seems nothing will happen. Not just city ,PSG have been almost as conniving .

What’s actually staggering is you should actually think of the money they have spent on transfers as being the money spent on transfers+ the dodgy sponsorship deals to enable their spending. The amount is mind blowing .

Ban them, too.

That would leave only about 5 clubs with any chance of winning the Champions League. Awesome.

Seems silly after their last two matches but I do wonder how confident their defenders feel today. I know they can overrun anyone with their attacking but I still think they have defensive weaknesses against a swift counterattack in numbers. Come on Reds!

Horrible feeling about today.

On the plus side our last 8 games vs city have resulted in 4 wins and 2 defeats ,2 draws apparently , which isn’t bad. Furthermore they haven’t actually thrashed anyone decent..yet ,but given the opportunities others have had against us I can see that changing ,city won’t be so wasteful.

All we need is a good start with 3 early goals and we might be able to hold on for a point!
I’m just looking forward to it. As long as our lads play to their potential and the tactics don’t stifle us, I don’t mind what happens.
3-2 to us will do smile

This is how we used to feel. Not to worried at the moment but I’d settle for a 1-1 draw right now.

It’ll be a long ball game from us to beat their press. Harry and Matic are going to have to look forward. I worry about our defence though.

City will be feeling extremely confident with Pogba out. A point would be a huge result for us in the circumstances.
