I definitely agree with that and still have high hopes he can be a 90% Kante for us given a little time.
The crazy thing is that he could be excellent. We just don't know. Mourinho made everyone look terrible, so the new player are still unknowns.
I’ll go on record to say I thinks he’s not good enough. I’m being kind.

Against Reading I was just saying to my dad how immobile lukaku was when Sanchez slipped him a thro ball and he burst through to expertly round the keeper and slot in from a tight angle. He can play and score goals, he just needs to lighten up a bit and get more movement. He's still young. Maybe OGS can coach that into him. Lots of time left for him at old Trafford.

Tough one Fred. There’s real, talent in there but look at the situation he arrived into....disfuntional dresing room and a manager in a tail spin. I’ve seen enough to disagree but I kept giving Jose support!

At the very least he should be given time to adjust to the pace of the premier league and let’s see what he can do in a team that wants to play on the front foot. He was excellent in the champions league for shaktar against City. They wanted him as well, he needs time.

His GF's about to drop, enough to put anyone into a tail spin!

Mourinho ruined Lukaku. He wanted another colossus like Drogba and just tried to make Lukaku eat cakes and pies until he weighed as much. The game has moved on and skilful, fast players are better than the lumps who can just kick a ball hard. Lukaku is more Nathan Blake than he ever was or will be Drogba.

Got tickets for the Emirates, first trip down there, can’t wait.

fking Gooners have halved our allocation due to safety reasons. Still I’m Alright!

Safety concerns, what a load of bks that is rolleyes

Good mate of mine has had 3 platinum season tickets for about 30 years and gets balloted out of pretty much every away game. Goes all over Europe with the club too, the system is a joke tbh!

Arsenal do this all the time but particularly for the Spurs and Chelsea games. Spurs will return the compliment in our new stadium biggrin

I think that Fred's performances under OGS show that he looks far more comfortable playing in an attacking team.
Some good through passes and forward movement instead of having his back to the oppositions goal.

He looks lost to me. Loses the ball way too easily, and I’m not sure he’s created anything. A liability in our own half, and not good enough in the opposition half.

That's the evidence so far, but let's wait and see how he does now the team is functioning better.

Exactly.

Lets give him a chance in OGS team because up to now he's only played in Jose's defensive line up which I don't think suited him.

Lovely story on uws.
Juan mata has a lady who looks after his dogs when he is away. The lady has a son playing in a junior team, one of the lads in this team lost his dad recently .
Mata heard about this and sent the kid a message promising him a signed shirt.
He turned up at the kids training session and spent nearly an hour training the kids (obviously giving the lad his shirt as well)
A proper gent is Juan.

He lives!

BBC article quotes Mourinhio as saying that he still belongs at the top level.

Can't see it myself. His reputation is tarnished.

Reliably informed by Michael Carrick that Mata is the nicest man in football. Loves living in Manchester too. Really like what he’s doing with commongoal too. smile
