Brilliant result....professional performance, but Big Rom.....oh dear.
New LB , MF, minimum, and of course OGS .
Well done lads
LB? Shaws doing okay.

Do you mean RB with tackle happy Young? Haven’t we got young Dalot for that?
We need some cover at fullback but the positions are be Shaws and Dalots long term at the moment. Shaw was great last night. Young has just got another year but he won’t be a starter next season.

Move out Lukaku for Icardi or similar to give us a different option up front and a long term solution for Matic.

Then a CB.

Great athmosphere and result. Never looked in trouble.
Except in the 1st Half where Higuain perhaps could have had 2, the miss control and the header wide and Hazard and Pedro probably should have scored. But apart from that......;-)

Hopefully that'll give you guys confidence to beat Liverpool at the weekend. We're doing our bit to stop them, losing 6-0 to city too.........
And if united had scored all 5 they had on target they would have still won. Talking about chances that weren't even on target let alone scored is grasping at straws!

Did you not read what Alpinestars said? He said "never looked in trouble". Which isn't accurate.

I'm not disputing the fact you didn't deserve to win. But don't do that thing where you rush in and reply before reading what was actually said.....

I don’t think we ever looked in trouble either. It’s a fair statement.

Turn it into a page of bickering if you must.

So a shot off target is a team looking in trouble according to you, you really do post some rubbish. BTW i am not a Utd fan either!

I am the most nervous fan in the world, and even I felt relatively calm during the match. Chelsea have excellent players - I think their squad is much better than Arsenal's or Spurs', for example. But they seemed pretty blunt to me.

Thought United were very impressive last night. Pogba once again outstanding.
I didn't think he had that great a game to be honest.

His delivery for the first goal was top class and his lead up play, movement and goal for the second were quality.

Herrera was excellent all night, blocked a Hazard attempt, scored a goal, broke up attacks. As mentioned the two centre halves were top drawer last night too.

OGS has to take massive, massive credit for instilling the belief and confidence back in this lot.

His tactical understanding of the game is showing through. He's now out-thought Pochettino, Emery and Sarri amongst the others. Just Guardiola and Klopp's scalps to take and he's got a full set! biggrin

laughlaugh watch out for Melchet reversing everyone.

Anyway, i don't wish to help you make a mess of another thread so i will end communication with you on this subject.

With regards to the weekend and the Utd fans on here, a nice boring 0-0 draw would do for me (I'm a Liverpool fan)

They didn’t have a shot on target after 11minutes. We completely shut them down in the second half even though they were trying to chase the game.

Really encouraging performance.

Deepest sympathies ,watching Chelsea is like watching united under lvg, lovely at keeping the ball with zero end product.
Seriously what will you do if hazard leaves ?

I think Sarri will be sacked if they lose another game in the next couple of weeks.

Chelsea got it right for 18 games and it will get it right again. Sacking the manager would be a very strange decision. If they keep their players, they are likely to challenge City next season as any other side, in my view.

Dream on. That’s why your fans didn’t chant for any part of the game (a small whimper at 60 mins or so), and booed.

Never looked in trouble. Bring back Maureen.
