Are teams having more a go at you this year ? Exposing your slow CM and uncertainty in defence..
Also DDG has not been at his normal level this season he saved your bacon so many times last yr
Yes they are. They know United are there for the taking and they’re going at them trying to score early and maybe even get a second, rather than sitting back and trying to nick a late winner Also DDG has not been at his normal level this season he saved your bacon so many times last yr

Interesting ...not appealing but we might need to get in bed with the devil .

If you do that deal then any credibility any of you had is gone if you continue to support the club. The same goes for any fans of any club where they sell to the Middle East. I’d hope the smaller clubs would see a boost in matchgoing fans if this happens. https://twitter.com/Turkisag/status/10627325500058...

We had the 2nd best defensive record in the prem last year without the players you're suggesting. Now I'm not saying that we don't need somebody but I think that largely as the attitude has shifted this year (without the desired results) that's what's made most of the difference up to now.
It's easy to level this at the centre backs but the fact is the whole team is culpable for what's happened so far.
How much of that do you put down to Jose's very public pursuit of any half decent cbs on the market this summer?. By doing so he was effectively issuing a vote of no confidence to the current CBs ( some of which he even bought). It's easy to level this at the centre backs but the fact is the whole team is culpable for what's happened so far.
I heard somewhere that you let in 29 goals in the whole of last season, this year you've already let in 20. These are the same players, what has changed?
I think Jose’s comments about the defence preseason were idiotic ,both in terms of destroying confidence and telling other teams the weakness .
We still have no right side as well but haven’t had that for numerous seasons now.

It would be awful, but if you’ve been supporting a team for 40 years + like many on here can you you just drop them ? Many matchgoing reds stopped going when the glazers took over and probably many more would if the Saudis bought the club but I know you can’t just drop a team you’ve invested so much time in.Many wouldn’t care and perceive it as an opportunity to regain lost ground on the likes of city .
I’d care. As much as the Glazers might leave a bad taste in the mouth, to my knowledge at least they are not bad human beings. These fkers from the Middle East are a whole different ball game of unpleasant. Not for me. I had a chat with my 9 year old about it the other day. As you can imagine he doesn’t quite understand why he might not be going to Old Trafford anymore but one day I hope he respects my decision not to go and will be able to make an informed choice for himself. Of course I would want the team to do well and to carry on winning trophies for years to come because they are the team I’ve supported as a boy. But I’d rather we tried to compete by not breaking any rules and not selling out to the Saudi’s.

Loads of space at Wigan, although I expect you might head over to Salford, as they’re looking like making the FL this year! I'm a short walk from Trafford FC so I'd probably saunter down there. Have a beer on the hillock whilst watching the game. I'm quite sure I'd try and get to some Salford City games though, maybe even FC United of Manchester. Never been to watch them play. I definitely won't be going to Wigan matches supporting them, maybe Bolton as I was raised there and always had a bit of a soft spot for Wanderers.

How sought do you think Gomez would be if he was available - equally as sought they are both unreal prospects
He's good but hes not deligt good, not even close. Oh wait.

True. Hoping Jose doesn’t fk about in January and pays what they’re asking for him.
Quite. Although it would be Ed fking about. And I’m not entirely sure whether you mean Gomes or Deligt. Good point though, follow the example of Scousers & City - if you need it, pay the money. It’ll soon look like a bargain anyway once the first player is sold for £1bn.

De Ligt currently plays in a better team than United.
United is not even second tier.
De Ligt, if he transfers in the summer of 2019, he'll probably play for either Barcelona or Real. City and Bayern are next in line.
Besides De Ligt is used to playing offensive football, why play negative football at United ?

You should've bought Depay.
Oh wait.
He was st. Under a st manager. Oh wait.
Interesting, a st manager who won more than the entire EPL combined. Apart from the bus driver that is of course, or should I say LvG's translater.
Depay meanwhile is doing pretty well by the way.

Managers don’t make a difference remember?

I can't deny Gose won something, the way he won things is something else though.
Attack, attack attack wil never be his forte, to put it very mildly.

Give him credit Depay looks half decent now, in a not so good league. He was useless for United.
