3rd and 4th is likely buggered.
It's not.
Look at Arse's away fixtures to verify that we're still in the race for 4th.
We also have to play Chelski.

Cut my nose off and all that, I'd rather we made it less likely Liverpool win the league and can play the kids on a Thursday evening.

We might only have the kids left to play in the league as well based on the performance of this squad of supposed senior pros.

Oh and Cardiff are likely to still be fighting for survival when we play them, so we’ll lose to them too.

Losing to Citeh at home tomorrow won't be as painful as it otherwise would be.

3 other games and 9 points will secure top 4.

What makes you think you can win three games in a row?

Huddersfield will want to put in a performance for their final home game in the prem, Cardiff will be fighting for their lives and Chelsea have Hazard.

Your team and fans have clearly given up (again) and if arsenal don't get anything at Wolves tonight then Spurs and Chelsea will likely get 3rd & 4th comfortably from here.

I would imagine that their better players will want to put themselves in the summer's shop window too.

Unless we beat City, top 4 is gone. People are very bad at maths around here!

We are lots of points behind and have bad goal difference. We are fighting with two others for one place. Unless Arsenal and Chelsea both collapse, top 4 is out of the question if we lose tonight.

Could the Everton result be a top strategy by Solskjaer to lull City into a false sense of security? laugh

Nothing to do with maths then.

Will watch and hope we show up and give them a game. Couldn't give a rats ass about Liverpool or City winning the title, its all deserved after the league is over. If we don't show up we will get ripped to pieces.

It'll be fine though, ORD will have a word in Pogba's ear and sort him right out

To be fair Liverpool and city have had dream seasons for points earned, one will be unlucky as it will poss be the highest points total earned without winning it.
I hope it's city but if we salvage some pride tonight and in the last few games that will be ok. Will be glad to see back of this season for sure.

Another point about tonight is that if city give us a drubbing (quite possible) it's further power to OGS shout for a proper and thorough clear out. The little golden spell did cloud over for a while the total lack of class and quality of squad depth at present. The hammering by Everton wasn't really a shock to many, it's been in the post since the season started.

He’s right though.

I expect Arsenal to drop points at Wolves tonight. We will beat Chelsea at home. Spurs are safe in the top 4 now, probably in 3rd. None of this matters as losing tonight will end any challenge we have for top 4. We keep getting lifelines from other teams dropping points, but it’s unlikely to be enough.

Agreed. There have been too many false dawn's, beating teams and flattering to deceive. Beat City tonight and Woodward will be pointing at the scoreline and saying "See..." to the Glazers - you don't need that.
I'd love to see you beat City though, the emotion on here would be amazing!

I was going to add that they both have more points than we have had in the last 5 seasons with 4 games left...it makes fk all difference to us. This season if we started better we may have been in with a proper shout for top 4, as no one apparently really wants it.

These last few weeks have been back to the turgid stuff we have seen previously. I didn't give the biggest cheer when Ole was officially appointed but he needs to do it his way...and the summer will tell us all. If it's like last summer when we were being linked to every player in the world except the ones we signed then we will be here again. If he knows what he wants, and we get a DoF who can identify the kind of players he wants then i'm sure we will be mixing it up again. But thats for the convo in June...apologies

As i said, I hope we turn up today and at the very least get these guys on the ropes once or twice, we are due a win good game at OT against them!

That's mainly because teams just sit back and commit suicide against City. They barely have to defend any attacks!
There's a reason for that though! Attack is the best form of defence etc. Most teams will get stuffed if they attack City, as they will leave gaps at the back that City cut through on a counter. They just don't have the quality to stop a City break every time. Hence most teams siting back and hoping to get a draw. It's the same against us this season - most teams have not attacked us, but end up being beaten anyway due to the quality of our team.

Seriously, you're the second person to have said this, where are you getting this result from?

Even after Salah put us 2-0 up I wasn't as confident as some of you utd fans about beating Chelsea...
