Just said on the news that the car was the wrong way up. Highly unusual for an SUV to roll over in an RTA....

Sounds from the anonymous witness who called the BBC and said they helped him out of the car, that his Princyness was pulling out of a side road onto the main road and was t-boned and then flipped onto his roof.

I'd be very surprised if he is uninjured after that!

Higher centre of gravity with all of the extras for a diplomatic spec? (I have no idea)

You are implying that it was his fault.

The post from Towser above suggests it too.

The other car may been on the wrong side of the road.

Or travelling massively over the speed limit?

That's what the witness account read out by Nicolas Witchell on BBC 6 O'Clock news suggests. An eyewitness who telephoned the BBC and who said they saw the crash and helped the Prince out of the car afterwards, said his car was on the side road, pulled into the main road and was t-boned and rolled by another car. Whether that's the actual course of events is another matter of course, but that's what the BBC's witness relayed.

Pah! Should be rewarded for not knowing the difference.
