yeah i read today that he now has to have surgery ffs. Im starting to wonder if hes just going to be another one of those perma crooks like Anderton.

Such a shame as he has the potential to be a really, really good player.

I agree the problem is if you dont play tripper then its foyth who's a CB.

And i cant stand Rose but whatever way you cut it he is better than Davis,

To be fair, smarty DID say "Liverpool have had no injuries" which I'm sure was no meant to be taken literally (otherwise it's a rather thick statement to make), but does suggests we've had very few injuries where as the truth is we've had to deal with long term injuries to some key players and we've had as many injuries as any other top six side other than Spurs.

The problem with Rose is he tries to take people on, loses the ball, then has no cover behind him as he's supposed to be the last defender on that wing. He also makes some good runs but his final ball is often so poor you wonder why he even bothers. So LOTS of running around but can't defend and can't cross. At least Davies can defend.

Llorente can be very useful IF we play to his strengths but for some reason our players don't seem to realise we have an 8ft forward who can win most balls in the air with ease or hold up the ball if you play it to his feet so we spend 95% of the game passing the ball around the outside of the area, completely ignoring him.
