Really disappointed in Eriksen and Alli not stepping up. Again. You'd think in a CL semi final they'd want to show the world how good they are.
This, x1000. This is why we lost. Is Alli up all night playing Fortnite as he doesn't look at the races.

As for Erikson, hasn't scored a free kick since 2015!!!!!!! And on the chance he gave to rose, he was in a similar position to Brighton but this time choose to pass than shoot.

Gotta have a dig at rose too, runs around a lot, given, but zero end product.

I think it's my fault frown

My most recently attended games:

Spurs 0-1 Ajax
Legends 3-4 Inter Forever
Spurs 1-1 Arsenal
Spurs 1-2 Liverpool
Spurs 0-0 Swansea

And to top it all off, I had tickets courtesy of 48k (thanks again smile )

I think we will score against them at their ground. I will take a 3-2 loss away thank you very much!
So you'll take a 4-2 loss on aggregate then?

Go watch your Etihad, Emirates, Chrevrolet sponsered Oligarch and Arab slave trading money leaque.

Shame though the surounding neighbourhood pleb from the 1bn Tottenham stadium can't afford the entrance fee.

Meanwhile Ed Woodward still thinks he can run a club.

And I'm annoyed because Ajax didn't kill the game.
Don't get lemon son.

We get it, you don't like the fact that 4 teams from England are contesting for
places in 2 top finals, that plus the fact that the Prem is almost certainly the
most entertaining league to watch, globally ,rankles and upsets you.
We understand your pain.

Ajax = how I was hoping Sarriball would be.......

You played fairly well 2nd half. Disappointing in the final 3rd. Looking forward to the 2nd leg.

On a positive..... even though it's my 3rd visit, I'm still absolutely blown away by the stadium.

It is incredible. And, I have to say it, must be taking an absolute shedload of cash every game. The tills were absolutely coining it in 2 hours before kick off!

And the atmosphere pre match around the south stand was outstanding.

And a neck oil and sausage roll for a fiver?! Unreal. It aint no normal sausage roll, either.

Im strangely happy with last nights result, we were awful, truly awful even worse than we were against west ham and thats saying something.

Even though we were properly crap we are still in it and it gives me a bit of hope because i didn't think Ajax were really all that either, given how st we were a really good team would have turned us over by 3 or 4 and we'd be out of the tie, but we're not we are right in it and know exactly what we have to do in the next leg.

Hopefully we can get a few players back and surely we cant continue to be this st, i fancy us to score a couple out there and if we do that then we are in with a good chance.

Two random thoughts, whoever decided that vertongen could go back on needs firing and bloody hell we miss Kane at least it should shut up the idiots that keep saying we are better without him.

And finally, how can i be disappointed, the sausage rolls were awsome.

Exactly.

First quarter of the tie you were outplayed, second quarter fairly even with two more quarters to go and you're only down one goal.

It's fascinating how fans (me included) can get so disconsolate and hyper critical when objectively the situation isn't that desperate.

I guess it's the mark of a good manager to ensure the players maintain positivity and belief, rather than follow the fans lead and wallow in a pool of negativity.

It was a disappointing performance and Poch must take some blame for the formation but we've played much better and come away with far worse results. Considering all the players we had missing Ajax should be out of sight. If that is the best they have then this tie is far from over.

Energy in midfield was the key when Sissoko came on. Any team will look good if you sit off them and give them time to pick passes.

I think people are critical because we know we can play better than that. You don't mind losing if your team has played it's heart out and run it's socks off, but when you've paid good money to watch your team in a CL semi final for the first time in your lifetime and they are strolling around being st it's a bit galling.

We made Ajax look better than they are and in the second half once we changed formation and Sissoko came on things improved and they were really there for the taking but we had no end product. We can definitely score over there the question is whether we can do enough to win the tie.

Poor Ajax...
That would be a wet dream for Levy - the team cost something like 50m EUR to build.

It was a decidedly bang average performance from Spurs last night, Eriksen and Alli in particular. You'll probably sneak through but you'll definitely need to up your game.

Was there a reason why Sissoko didn't start the game? I thought he'd been your best player this season?

Son got my POTS vote but I nearly voted for Sissoko. Maybe Poch didn't want to risk him from the start because it was his first game back but he was immense when he came on.

I was thinking that too. We need to get the National Trading Standards to visit Cobham, we've been sold counterfeit goods.

Sorry to be the party pooper but I don't really understand the optimism tbh. We lost 1-0 at our HOME ground, you know the £1bn "fortress" we've built. They have the away goal advantage too so we have to score 2 and win to go through. Nothing I saw last night gives me much hope we can do that.

Eriksen AWOL, Alli AWOL, Moura AWOL, Llorente AWOL. It's saying something when we are relying on Sissoko to make us look good. Now we are expecting Son to come in and miraculously save the day?

I rate our chances at 10% at best and even if by some miracle we got through, we aren't good enough to beat either Barca or Liverpool. We've been pretty average the latter half of the season tbh but we usually manage to raise our game for the CL, last night we couldn't even manage that.

AS reporting a verbal agreement has been made regarding the sale of Eriksen to Real.

AS are like the Spanish version of the Daily Sport.
