Didnt you get banned from this sub-section?
Nah, just find it weird that someone who doesnt have 'history' in this section all of a sudden becomes very animated in it with their ideas. Its abit like when a member gets banned then some new member joins as magically knows the history of some long running thread they, sorry, the new member had been following but not logging on.
Just wondered if Fittster was someone else previously

It's a bit of a stretch for someone to join 12.8 years ago and post almost 14 000 times to hide their banned username in 2019, Nah, just find it weird that someone who doesnt have 'history' in this section all of a sudden becomes very animated in it with their ideas. More likely they felt able and welcome to post after many of the regulars on here left to the private area.

I can understand that, and fair enough. However, it's probably best several of the same people who did so would not pop up in our thread wumming after they did so - it's a bit hypocritical. But just my opinion. (P.S. it's the United lot who seem to be getting people banned these days).
A bit? I've never understood the whole "they do it so we do it but like Salah's dives, cute when it's us"Anyway, I hope you're enjoying a summer ski trip in the top end. I just assume it snows in Norway all year round so don't ruin this for me with facts.

Only got 1ft of snow currently..., Not skiing this year much, but have been skiing every month up here before. Now living a bit further south now, and longer to the mountains so less easy to do currently. Hope you're doing well, and glad you haven't been cooked by the sun, burnt by a forest fire, lost in the outback, bitten by a snake, eaten by a shark, stung by a jellyfish or drowned by a crocodile... How do you have such a high life expectancy?!

Most people on PH (including myself in this) are probably not the most mature balanced people all the time. Hence the childish tit-for-tat that happens all the time. Or even the mature ones like Adam occasionally get fed up and join in.

I went to Norway once. I was far far too ugly for that country. I felt like an even bigger hobo than I normally do. As for life expectancy that is easy. I moved to New Zealand. I don't even know where the emergency ward is that is the best one for snake bites. What a time to be alive.

So if you lost Ericsson and got Phil, stronger or weaker? When Phil was at ours I remember a few saying he was inferior to CE
There was a Liverpool fan on TalkSport earlier who made the great point that what did for Phil at Liverpool was Mane arriving and him having to play deeper. He said Phil is best when playing as a forward which is why his head dropped at Liverpool and why things haven't worked out at Barcelona for him (aside from the fact Barcelona is built around Messi). So ideal world would be keep Eriksen with a contract raise or whatever it takes to get his head straight and wanting to play for us, and have Phil up front with Kane and Son.
But an even more ideal world would be to forget all talk of Phil and actually sort out our bigger problems which are in defence.
I'm actually a bit annoyed this "Phil to Spurs" thing has suddenly appeared on the radar tonight because it's distracting from the higher priority issues we need to solve.

He certainly was better there, he didn't control the game enough to be deeper for me, and it's a reason I don't feel we have gone back for him. Sounds a bit like me too then! But I just soldier on. Thankfully it's a bit more relaxed the longer north you go. Plus being a geologist then you're already viewed positively if you don't go around in khaki green shorts, white socks and sandals. As for life expectancy that is easy. I moved to New Zealand. Must be liberating to give up all those worries! You can even do your own skiing, without having to travel to Japan, or that one? ski resort that everyone in Australia goes to if there is snow.

Think with the options you have you'd either need squad rotation with some of your attacking players, or Phil might have issues again. As you mentioned he does his best when attacking, and needs to be the creative one that pushes on with others covering the gaps left. You've got too many good attacking players for that to really work well, unless you swap them around in different games. So ideal world would be keep Eriksen with a contract raise or whatever it takes to get his head straight and wanting to play for us, and have Phil up front with Kane and Son.
