Hah, no.
Born and bred in Newcastle, dad played for them, didn't get on with him, decided to support Sunderland to spite him. Supported them since through thick and (lots of) thin - and was a shareholder until I got compulsory purchased by Niall and Drumaville. It's a cross I have to bare.
But, but.....
We're st - always have been, and always will be (with a few notable exceptions along the way) - but we have no delusions of grandeur, no stupid expectations, and despite being mid-table in fking League One, still get 30K at home and sell-out away every time. Plastic we're not.
At least the trainwreck of a documentary about Spurs this season will take the spotlight off Sunderland which is lucky for you Born and bred in Newcastle, dad played for them, didn't get on with him, decided to support Sunderland to spite him. Travel advice needed - Is Northumberland Park station ok for travel to/from the new stadium ? or does it get completely overrun ? Off to the FA Cup replay, first time at the new stadium, travelling from East on Central line
Any other recommendations ?

You're normally fine getting in, its the mad rush to get away from the stadium after which can cause issues at all the stations.Any other recommendations ?

A city of 250,000 people with only one football club - damn right it should be selling out 30,000 every time
Jesus. Plastic stupidity, and I'm guessing you're not quite bright enough to understand why?
Please do list all the cities with 250k (you got that very wrong as well you melt) inhabitants with more than one club.
My st team from a city with considerably less plastic fans than yours has actually won the title three more times than yours.
Yes, I know, last time was 1937, but hell, when you're as st as us, any port in a storm (or when I'm arguing with plastics, an inlet with a gentle current).

Seriously the football forum has become one big ahole fest and it seems to keep getting worse and worse. I pop back in about once or twice a week in the vain hope it's changed and we can actually talk about football but it's either the same old aholes with nothing better to do with their lives or a whole new set of aholes finding a new home. Don't think I'll bother anymore tbh.

All good and fair points Adam, and if you think Jose didn't make the same sort of list as you before joining Spurs you're very much mistaken.
He must have known what he was letting himself in for, he just needs to sort it out rapidly.
No I thought type-r didn't make a list, not JoseHe must have known what he was letting himself in for, he just needs to sort it out rapidly.
I do wonder what timescale and budget was agreed though
Football fans have been giving each other st forever, from they minute they start supporting a team. Not sure why theres an expectation of being graceful or 'classy' when you get beaten or your team is doing well.
Whatever is classy either - seems to be a 'win, but dont fken brag about it, talk about how good you are or rub it in' mentality.
Think some people to readjust their perspective of what being a football fan entails.
Liverpool havent won the league and been really good for a long time - and wont other fans let us forget it so of course we're going to enjoy it - you would too.
If Spurs were as good as Liverpool you'd sure as st being giving Arsenal fans grief right now, especially if you could beat their unbeatables record.
Fact is, you guys have gone from a massive 'we'll be amazing from now on' to 'damn, same old same old' and as a supporter of a team that was also very good many years ago but for a long time not, i feel your pain, but dont become faux-offended by other fans, thats just fooball.

It would be silly to pretend that travel too / from the new stadium is radically better than it was with the old one. The transport infrastructure hasn't changed much, and now you've got double the number of fans using it. Last orders is usually about an hour after the final whistle so if you can hang back and have a couple of beers after the game it's then it becomes an absolute breeze getting to whichever station you need but staying back isn't always an option for people on the late night midweek kick offs.Any other recommendations ?

That said - I doubt Borough will sell their full allocation and given it's a midweek evening kick off and on the telly as well, I'd be surprised if there's anywhere near 62K there so it shouldn't be too bad and Northumberland Park is only 10 mins walk away.

fully understand that it’s the same infrastructure as before
Kind of - they've extended the platforms and built additional entrances and exits at White Hart Lane and remodelled Northumberland Park too so it has helped but it's still not the easiest stadium to get to and from.https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51093859
Gedson Fernandes. Never heard of him, not that that means much.
Sounds like a done deal unless he fails the medical.

Did you turn the wrong way out the airport and not double check the IDs?
