I agree, no one will remember this season. It's been piss poor.
Just quoting that so I can add a photo of Liverpool's victory parade to it in about 3 months time. I'd pretty much just started first school when we last won the league, I'll remember it.

On a serious note has the league positions between 5th and 17th ever been closer at this stage. Assuming City get kicked out the CL anyone in those positions could still qualify for the CL or be relegated.

It's odd isn't, Liverpool are storming away with it, yet when we played City and somehow won..... they were still by the best footballing side I have seen by a long way. If they hadn't had the blips they'd rightly be top, and this unbearable scenario wouldn't be playing out!
By blips you must mean not winning 26 out of 26. Yeah they'd be storming to a 2 point lead.

Edit I guess 5 but then if we're talking imaginary scenarios i don't think we would have slipped up so badly at OT, so call it 3 points.

This season will be remembered for the debacle that is VAR and Citeh's fallout with UEFA.

No one will give 2 hoots about t'League winners. It's a farce I tell thee.

You can keep telling yourself that all you like but we both know that most UTD fans will be gutted.
Far more so than when City have won it.

Seems like this season is going to go down in history regardless.

Most people remember Leicester winning, Aguerroooooo, the Invincibles and Utd's treble. This season will be amongst them and it'll be our name on the trophy.

Just because Liverpool get a mention it’s not a fking invitation to come in and pollute the thread of tranquility.

ps off to your own thread and debate the wisdom of not playing your first team players in the cups and then acting surprised when your players are strangely fitter than those other teams who have played more first team football. Yes Klippity Klopp, I wonder why that fking is!

Good luck to you and I can’t see how you could fail to win a one horse race, but you chaps leave a nasty smell in the air wherever you go.

Now back OT, anyone think Man U might take some points off Chelsea tonight? I bloody hope so and we’ve got them next on Saturday.

You speak so much sense, all the future record books will show an asterisk next to this seasons winners.

All you need to do is sign Alisson, hehe
Tbf would probably apply to them to, loris/Gazinger has cost them quite a few goals this season and let in goals he should save wink

  • not sure if any mistakes have cost points though?

rofl

This season is a one horse race and will be as fondly remembered as Chelsea or City winning it. It would get more airtime if the MSM didn't spend last season crowning Liverpool champions before they bottled it.

When the blades take 4th place and get into the CL it will take the attention away from the real story this season which is Pep taking League Two by storm.
