Sorry to take it off the topic of Liverpool...

Hoping for a Man Utd win here tonight. If they could do us a favour and snap a couple of ankles along the way that would be super.

I'd take a draw, or manure win...

It's going to be tight on the run in, as someone else said - got to focus on those above us.

Players we need to desperately get rid of.

Dier - Dull, heavy, slow, can't pass. Literally brings nothing to the party.
Aurier - Always has a rash mistake or three in him pretty much every game. Rash tackles in the box, penalties, red cards, he's got the full back of tricks.
Davies - Didn't even realise he was playing today, that's how bang average he is
Sanchez - Can't head the ball, can't pass the ball and has zero positional awareness. The only good thing I can say about him is he's quick.

So a CDM and 3 of our defenders. I think from this we can work out why teams look like they are going to score, every time they get near our goal.
That's hardly getting started. I'd add the following to that list.

Lloris - Best days are behind him
Vorm - How old?
Verts - Past it.
Llorente - Badly need a replacement.
Sissoko - He got a contract extension???
Lamela - To injury prone. If the opportunity to offload him comes we should take it.
Wanyama - Dead.
CCV - At some point we need to sell him, rather than continual loans.
Foyth - Don't think Jose has any faith in him

Although I could keep Sanchez, not great but there are far bigger problems to address.
Going back to this - Dier has looked terrible this season, no idea why he's playing, is Maureen hanging onto his idea when he tried to buy him?
Aurier and Sanchez both poor and full of mistakes leaving others to cover for them Moura spent a lot of his time running back to assist Aurier with Grealish.

Lloris? Maybe past his best but still good for a couple of years? I think it's the poor defence that isn't helping, he's unsure. I'm not sure who's available to replace him but Gazzaniga is a handy stand in.

As you say Davies was quiet, and his ball distribution was poor - he always used to produce a brilliant cross.

Llamela for me is a good impact sub, bring him on in the last 15-20 mins when everyones tired and use his energy. Winks is still looking very good.

Foyth, no idea, thought he looked OK.

Alli just doesn't look sharp, but is making some good touches and getting into the right positions.

The bright news is the new signings look excellent. No idea why Lo Celso doesn't start, Bergwijn looks a brilliant buy.

It would be nice to have a season when Kane plays all year.

All you need to do is sign Alisson, hehe
Tbf would probably apply to them to, loris/Gazinger has cost them quite a few goals this season and let in goals he should save wink

  • not sure if any mistakes have cost points though?
He's also the best shot-stopper in the league in 2019

Yep GLC, Bergwijn, Gedson all looking very handy. Sess needs some more game time to develop but he is very young. The only one who has been disappointing is Ndom, all the more so as you can tell he has huge potential but seems he is a lazy fker who enjoys one too many pies. Real shame as there is a very good player in there but he just doesn't seem to have the right motivation which you really shouldn't be saying about someone earning £200k a week.

We still desperately need two decent fullbacks and a CDM, Dier is not the answer to that question. Problem is decent CDM's are pretty rare, i.e. expensive.

Wasnt it Davies first game back after an injury lay-off?

Ndom's always injured now or maybe he just bulked for xmas and having trouble shifting the pounds (due to injury)
