I'm sure he's not alone in such things but the things Mane has done in his hometown are admirable, too (I know others like Drogba have done similar).

Ejaria scored tonight for Reading, suppose to be running the show, always a player I thought had the potential to make it, be good for him having a year in that league.

Stats are nothing without context, which Nevin provides in the article.

Fernandinho is a master at killing a breakaway, by fair means or foul. Our Bobby isn't bad it either.

Klopp was accepting an award from Bild in Germany yesterday and has been quoted as saying "I hope to continue like this, but within two, three years. I don't know what may happen. Maybe I'll retire. That doesn't mean it'll happen, but if it does, don't be surprised".

Don't have nightmares, kids...

Dread the day this happens, he really has took us from. Nowhere to a proper team, a team feared throughout Europe, a team full of top top players, he will be a tough act to. Follow when he does go.. He has certainly given me many memories and has rinsed my bank account following them all over Europe hehe

Interesting bit on "tactical fouling" on the BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49371002

Certainly some room for creativity around the stats but if Man City are deliberately doing it significantly more than other sides, the stat that demonstrates that hasn't been weeded out.
The stats look pretty meaningless to me. A second or 3 between the top and bottom teams, or a few percent here and there.

I'd be quite happy for the refs to clamp down on the clearly cynical fouls and to be fair some do. Sterling's tug back in the spurs game got him a yellow.
Another interesting look into that would at what scoreline do City tactical foul.
There’s probably less tactical fouls made when they are 2/3/4-0 up as opposed to when it is 0-0 and they haven’t scored in the first 20-30 mins because the opposition will just give in and they’ll be defeated at that score.
Counters which could lead to a 1-0 to the opposition are obviously what will have people remembering City making the tactical foul.

He has made the odd comment about wanting to see the world and experience more than football, and wanting to do it before he gets too old to enjoy it fully. So I'm kinda expecting him to go sometime in the next few years. 5 more would be a bonus but I suspect he'll knock it on the head sooner - depends whether he delivers the Prem (not that I'm expecting him to win the Prem and then immediately go but I imagine that's the main driver now).
