We are at home in the second leg. An advantage? It used to be but not so sure any more.

I think we can do them.
I suppose it's all about Messi. If he goes on one then it it's a different story but I'd have us up with anyone now.

He's just a freak.

I could well believe that. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Firstly, great away performance by us tonight, ruthlessly efficient.

Secondly, well played spurs, scoring 3 away goals tonight is tremendous and I enjoyed seeing Pep piss away another chance of winning the trophy that supposedly doesn't matter to him.

Thirdly , Spurs winning tonight is bad for us in the league. Very bad.

Whatever happens that's going to hurt, as professional as city are I think there'll be a hangover from that. The drama was incredible.

This could really dent their egos. Not so much the loss, but the manner of it, will hurt their sense of entitlement.

I hope Spurs can repeat the feat on Saturday.

Ha ha about Blue Moon.

Really happy for them, was far more emotionally involved than today for us in a way, as very quickly we "were through" so much less excitement.

However Tottenham are surely going to be demolished on Sat - they'll be saving players/players will want to avoid being injured for the CL now, particularly with the injuries. And they don't have much depth compared to City in terms of replacing tired players. And City will want revenge/ know the League is now the 100% focus.

Would be funny if after all the talk of the quadruple the only trophy city win this season was the league cup.

Too early to tell. Could go one of two ways. Unless you mean there'll be 11 Spuddie reserves on show on Saturday. They ain't safely in the top four ... a lot to play for still.

Citeh might implode, who knows ... momentum killed in one night, maybe. Although I don't think Pep will allow it. How many years is it since he last won the Champions' League?

No one gave Spurs a chance tonight and if they can do us a favour in the league we’ll give them the cup. wink
Really?

NRS said:
I think Tottenham have quite a good chance today. They just need 1 goal and City need 3, which will leave them more open. Of course City have the quality that if they're on it Spurs could lose 4-0, but if Spurs turn up they have a pretty decent chance.

Used to be, but in recent years teams have really been done by away goals.

We could quite easily score 4 past Barca over two legs, not saying we will, but they can be got at. I just hope we can keep them out!
