I think if we were to get someone I'd be thinking of cover/ a replacement for TAA. He does well most of the time, but several games he's been shown up defensively. Would be good to have someone there if we need to close out a game. This is assuming Clyne is gone.

Pinch of salt.

Think he said much the same last summer.

If the right players are available we will be in the market.

Harry Wilson did the business again today.

Two goals in injury time.

He's had a great year.

I'd like to see him get a chance next season.

I know what you mean, but he's still young and gives us loads of attacking threat so I'm happy for Trent to continue playing there.

I'd like to see Trent play in midfield in future too.

Didn't see the pen but the second was on the counter, he could've been wearing red wink

I said last summer that I expect the next 2-3 windows to have little to no activity due to the substantial sums spent recently. The expenditure will then even itself out as 'normal' spend. Given that Klopp likes to work with players that he already has and that our squad looks pretty strong 'as-is' and the great season we've had with it, I would expect more promotion of youth to cover the 2-3 players that will leave. I think Sturridge and Moreno are two guaranteed exits?!

I wouldn't read anything into that.

Melchett/Taylot's particular posting style is very obvious.

I agree that he's young and so will learn, and most teams we face he is more than good enough. I'd just like to see cover and/or someone more defensive for those tough games. Milner is not getting younger, and the other youngsters have not got enough experience yet to act as cover. It might have been the reason for a few of the draws earlier in the season - putting midfielders there. I think they did very well, but we maybe lost some options in midfield which would have helped. Although who knows if it would have made a difference.
