City have been brilliant, as have we. It's funny how everyone thinks it's over, 88 points against 89 with 3 games to play.

Whoever wins will deserve it, let's see how it goes shall we wink
Who ever comes 2nd deserved it this season
Edit to clarify, whoever comes 2nd deserved the title, just not as much as who comes 1st! smile
Reckon that's about right!

It's a farce. I might as well be in it.
How the fk is Pogba in there?
Utd desperately trying to plug holes in their £90m bucket before RM open their wallet.

What a joke.

So the most likely outcome for our season now is runner up in the PL and a semi-final exit to Messi's Barcelona in the CL.

Objectively a great season and it's been entertaining, we've broken a few club records, however where do we go now? Will we strengthen again in the summer? Will we lose a few names? Will Klopp decide it's just not going to happen and move on?

Hope the owners, manager and director of football keep the faith whatever happens in these last 5 (or 6) games.

Everything that has ever come out of the club indicates we are continually strengthening and the job isn't over. We will lose those we're happy to lose, bring in some new players, keep moving forward. With Klopp at the helm - he's never given any indication he's anywhere near finished yet.

However, I agree on the most likely outcome for this season. And oddly, I don't have too much of a problem with it if that's what comes to pass. Given how shaky we were at the start, this has ultimately seen a big improvement over last season, when we were so happy with how our attack played but not about defence. Look how far we've improved in 12 months. Awesome job. More to come.

Well he'll either quit or be fired one day, hopefully not for a good few years.

I'm not saying anything that those with money on the line don't agree with. Like everyone it would be very nice to be proved wrong.

Jeez talk about pessimistic. There's still 3 games left to play yet...and why can't you have a good chance against Barcalona?

Wherever we do or don't end up this season were currently having our best ever PL season, and unlike every other club we have stability and certainty ahead with much to look forward to.

I don't dwell on what we haven't achieved (yet) I feel great hope for what we will achieve.

I think we can absolutely be sure we don't have a bunch if squad fillers and it's FSG not F$G.

Why not. It has no bearing on the outcome of the season.

We do have a chance against Barca but we're not favourites and favourites have a habit of winning more than they lose.

Why not what? The only question I asked was why seem to think you can't have a good chance against Barca....to which you appear to have replied it'd have no bearing on the outcome of the season....so are you saying if you beat Barcalona that will have no bearing on the outcome of the season? Or are you asking why not be pessimistic? I didn't ask why you should/shouldn't be pessimistic, I just stated that you are.

I did hope that one of the other top two sides might do you a favour against Citeh. Utd can't be relied on to even turn up nowadays so no hope there and Spurs were a touch unlucky really - Son should have scored at least one.

Three matches left. If I were a betting man I wouldn't put money on you guys but who's to say Brendan won't have the last laugh by nicking a draw?

Er...Spurs aren't stable and have nothing to look forward to with our new stadium and all?

Seriously?

I can’t see us losing anyone tbf unless Madrid come in with a silly offer for mane or salah. Even then I’m not sure we’d sell up.

I think the only area to strengthen is in the central midfield. In my opinion I’d we had Gerrard then in his peak playing this season we’d have won the league. That is the sort of player we have been lacking.

I think Barca is 50/50. There's plenty of reason to be hopeful.

The underlying pessimism is the air of resignation at missing out on the League title when in virtually any other season the results would have been good enough. City have taken things to another level and I think everyone has acknowledged that in good grace. We always said more teams needed to take points off City and it just hasn't happened to a large enough extent. It's not over, there's always an outside chance, but it's been in City's hands for a good while now.

If I read it correctly since the halfway point in the season City have only dropped 2 points.

Pretty incredible.

Poch isn't a certainty and there's no money for new players with some on the periphery of being somewhere else.

The staff and players at Spurs are far from stable.
