Love this - during all the bit about how we lost the final last year and Robertson being positive after teh game, there's a link to an article about Can "Emre Can says he left Liverpool with nothing to prove and made right choice joining Juventus" rofl Yup, right choice for him - assuming he didn't want to play in the CL final again laugh

It was the right choice for his bank balance and I dare say Juve will challenge strongly for the CL again

I'm not so sure. Ronaldo won't go on forever and without him I don't see them as anything particularly special against Europes best.

Utd ruled out De Ligt according to Sky, surprised if that's the case, exactly the type of player they need.

They win the league though and you missed the first and primary point

Anyone watch Italian football and can confirm how he is doing?

Wonder how the mood will be in here in exactly 7 days time ? I'm already very excited and nervous all at the same time, Its such a massive massive game

for both clubs, But with us losing in the final last year I feel there is even more pressure on us to win it this time and ,possibly with us playing in the Final

last year our lads may not be as overcome with the emotion as Spurs ? Small margins at this level and our lads wont want that 'losing hangover '

throughout the summer break again.

Its basically two excellent sides who are gonna be fighting for their lives out there next Saturday, My prediction 3-1 Liverpool (Mane 2 Salah / Firmino 1)

Several million quid to the good and a League Winner's medal. Seems to be doing alright.

He's first choice, doing ok from what I saw. The Italian league isn't much better than the French league, Juve are nailed on for the title before a ball is kicked.

It's the Scottish premiership with marginally better players.

To be fair he might not have much enjoyed the way Klopp wanted to play and saw the writing on the wall. He was told there's no guarantee of being a 1st choice, which is what he wanted, so why not bag a few quid and go somewhere warmer where you get to play every week.

Although I liked Emre Can its quite strange how quickly you can forget about players almost as soon as they leave, Suppose it depends on who you

replace them with, but I never felt for a minute that we have missed him / or we would be a better team with him still in it.

Dare I say the same about Phil ?? I personally would still have him back but would have to be for less than 60M .. Have we really missed him though ?

Just watched the highlights of last year's final, the first time I've ever watched the highlights of that awful game. I'm gonna watch our road to Madrid now smile

Hopefully we'll get some luck and win on Saturday, it's a shame we're playing spurs as I'd actually like them to win the CL, just not against us!!

Yes, we've missed him massively. He's still world class imo.

Have we missed him? Not sure we have. Look at what we've done this season. Who would you drop to play PC where he was playing for us before he left?

We’ll be celebrating. I simply cannot see any scenario where we lose to Spurs. We are a much better team in every area, on current form there isn’t one Spurs player who would get in to our starting XI. I’d settle for a comfortable 3-0 win.
