When asked if six points from seven games was unacceptable, Hodgson replied: "Yes of course it is. This is Liverpool. We are a big club and big team and none of us would accept it is a correct total.

Imagine your main striker being Ngog. I honestly can't remember much about Jovanovic. Reina must have seen that lot in front of him and wondered where it all went wrong...
I was thinking Carragher would have been thinking what the fk is going on here...Did we win that game? I want to believe it was a league cup game against a League 2 team, but knowing Hodgson we were playing a top 6 side.

Point taken about Carra.Did we win that game? I want to believe it was a league cup game against a League 2 team, but knowing Hodgson we were playing a top 6 side.
I reckon anyone who confidently says which match that was just from the lineup is lying!

Poulsen was a decent player - but like Litmanen, wasn't quick enough for the Prem. Litmanen, Riedle, Poulsen - all decent players. Just not in the Prem so much (granted, Poulsen wasn't in the same bracket as those other 2 but he was still decent on the continent).

"Currently, only four Premier League clubs are accredited with the Living Wage Foundation – Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and West Ham. Those four clubs have formally committed to paying staff and third-party contractors at least £9 an hour, rising to £10.55 an hour for the two London clubs. Tottenham have committed to pay all staff the Living Wage although they are not accredited by the LWF."
